Thriving
Ordered the "Chicago Peace" rose. It was very carefully packed and arrived in good condition. I live in MA and the rose was ordered in July. The 1st picture was taken 6 days after delivery, and the second one is ten days later with at least 3 rosebuds already formed. No signs of bugs or disease.Update:Ten days later after the last photo, the bush has its first rose blooming. Light fragrance, color is accurate from seller description/pics.

The "Chicago Peace" rose bush and "The Oklahoma Red Rose Bush" arrived with no damage and the instructions were easy to follow. I have had them planted for about two months but with a late spring here and a lot of cloudy and rainy skies (I live in OR) I feared it would never grow. Finally, we have had much better weather. Some people suggested I would not have rose buds for one or two planting seasons and that saddened me since I planted them under my bedroom window and wanted their scent wafting through during those months. Well to my surprise I have five rose buds on one of them and two on the other and am delighted . They are tiny. Not nearly ready to bloom but still excited with anticipation of what's to come. I will update this later on with photos.

Small bloom/not a Chicago Peace Rose
With roses, you have to trust that the rose will be the right rose when you order it.....and it takes time to find out. When this rose bush bloomed......the flowers were weak pink roses. Nothing like a Chicago Peace Rose. There were only 3 roses that bloomed this year. My mistake was not taking a photo of the roses. It was a huge waste of money. I have planted and raised 17 rose bushes in my yard.....and am accustomed to having beautiful flowers that my neighbors love seeing as they walk by my house. It seemed like I needed to give this bush one more year, the Spring of 2025, to see if it will do any better next year. But, it would greatly appear that spending $63.00 for this bush was a true waste of money. Be sure to order from a tried and true rose catalog.

Chicago Peace Rose's is brilliant!
