Affordable, easy to install, and effective!
I live in Houston next to a wooded area. Needless to say, bugs are a year-round problem. The door's original sealant has cracked under the Texan sun and has failed. Since then, I have found many bugs in my home, both harmless and pestilence. Using insecticides and ultrasonic repellents diminished the number of pests, but not enough to keep my home entirely bug-free.Enter the Baining Door Draft Stopper. The box was very easy to open and came with instructions, thumbtacks, and the strip. It's advisable to clean and dry the bottom of the door before installation with a mild cleanser (I used 409 and a rag). Installation was a breeze - pun intended. Simply remove the red tape from the back of the strip, attach to door, cut off the excess, and push in the thumbtacks. If you make a mistake, you can adjust the strip by removing the strip from the door and reapplying it (readjustment may strip the door's paint). Naturally, the thumbtacks work well on wooden doors but do not work on metal doors. The strip sits adhese well on metal doors, however. I installed three strips while sleep deprived at 3:00 am and was back in bed at 3:15 am.I have not seen any creepy-crawlies since installing the strips. These were so affordable, easy to install, and effective! If you're having a bug problem, you need to add this to your arsenal. These strips do not hurt any living creatures and also protect your home.

Great for playful cats
We have cats who love to fling their colorful little toy mice under the basement door. Every day. About 20 of them. Then whine non stop because they have no more mice. Did I say cats? I 'm sorry, cat. His name is Boo. Let me tell you, this Door stopper was the best thing I ever bought. It was easy to install and after my cat got over being mad at me for taking his game away and the influx of toy mice increased 30 fold he is one happy kitty again and I am one happy camper again. If it every becomes unstuck (which due the amount of adhesive, I have a strong suspicion that it won't) I will certainly buy from this seller again as they shipped it quickly and it arrived before my other packages from Amazon themselves. Installation was a breeze, for me at least, I just watched my husband do it. For him, he just pounded two of those little white jobbers into the door when he stuck it on and voila insta-door stopper. I highly recommend these to anyone who has a draft, funky smell/teenager living in room/playful cats/or anyone or anything else you need to block from that little section of door gap from door to floor. These work great! If you are elderly though, get someone to help you, it requires getting down on the ground to install.

Effective and easy to install
I got this for a door leading from the garage into the basement. There was a pretty big gap, and I could feel the cold winter air pouring under the door into the basement. I did a quick clean of the bottom edge of the door, measured and cut the sweep with a sturdy pair of kitchen scissors, peeled of the backing and stuck it to the inside of the bottom of the door. I pressed firmly all the way across the door, and it held on very tightly, so I didn't use the included white tacks as it seemed unnecessary. My bare feet felt the difference immediately--no more draft under the door! It's been in place for several weeks now and is holding up great--I think it will last a long time.

Easy to install, works great
This was super easy to install. I didn’t even measure or mark the door. I wiped the door down & let it dry. I then started on the hinged side first & slowly peeled as I moved down the door to the opening side. I made sure I left an extra inch on that end to meet the other door of the French doors. We have an issue of bugs coming in through there. There wasn’t that much left over when I cut the end off. I used the remaining few inches to place on the end of the other door so the primary door overlaps it, in hopes of reducing the draft & bugs entering. The red you see is the plastic film over the sticky part & that is the small section that’s not attached to anything. I left that red piece on there because otherwise it will get covered w/ dirt. I went back w/ the end of a tool & presses down on the adhesive section firmly. After a day, as the instructions indicated, I opened the door. It was a bit tough to open because I may have placed it too low in one section but it’s doing its job. I would recommend this product!

It's good for the price, but certainly not a great.
I like this for what I bought it for, but the adhesive came off the product rather than the wax paper coming off of it. It stuck on my steel door and it was easy enough, but the area where I pulled off the adhesive is weak. This could be "my fault" sure, but at the same time, it shouldn't be that easy to pull off the adhesive from the actual product and the wax paper shouldn't be so difficult to pull off that this causes an issue. At least in my opinion.I think it's a 3 star product because it's decent (3-star), not great or perfect (5-star), and below average (4-star) in the scale in my mind.

So that's where the roaches were coming from!
Wish I though of getting this sooner, it's great. You attach it with an adhesive strip, and you have to cut some off because it comes extra long. It has a few optional push pins that you secure it with, I did but I don't think you have to.Originally, I got this because there's a ~5mm gap below my door, and courtesy of the idiot leaf blowers I wake up every day with a living room full of dry leaves. With this, I was able to get the gap down to 1mm and the leaf problem has been eliminated. Great!Another thing I noticed is that there have not been any roaches since putting this thing in. My house is very clean and I have strategically set roach bait and poison, but I would still find one running around the house every once in a while. I was beside myself trying to track down whatever hole in the masonry I was assuming they came from. Well, based on this, it seems like it was just the door. Granted, I haven't had it long enough to really say for sure, and there's definitely room for a determine roach to squeeze in (especially at the corners) but I think this thing has definitely reduced the problem.
