I use the strips with paste adhesive because the strips doesn't hold my teeth like I want but its not the product fault but anyway the paste is messy and it is time consuming to get off but if you have the time buy and cut the adhesive strips and place on teeth as a base first... then squeeze the paste on top of the strips...when cleaning all you have to do is peel off because the paste is stuck on the strips not the teeth.Update:I used a coffee wood stick to pry up product,,Another Update: I was in a hurry and didn't have time for cutting strips so I wet the strip and placed on dentures and did the tuck/fold adjustment no cutting and then placed adhesive on top and when I removed it everything came up, yea! No more cutting..and the adhesive is still adhered to the strip just peel off gums or teeth.

I've been wearing dentures for more than 20 years, so I know what I'm doing. I tried Sea Bond back in the day, and it just didn't hold at all, but back then I was just figuring out my new dentures. I recently decided to stock up on my denture supplies via my FSA card, and I figured I would give Sea Bond another try. Bad idea.The biggest problem is simply that they don't hold at all. Despite several tries and following the instructions to a T, these are about as effective as a piece of paper. They don't adhere to my dentures at all and don't seal to my gums. They even slide out of place after a while, and they do nothing to keep my dentures in place or keep food from getting trapped underneath. And they absolutely do not cushion at all. I'm glad I stocked up on Poligrip Strips instead.

It's so hard to find just the lowers. And I can only get 15 at a time. So I order 2 packs at a time here and it works out much better for me. That's a two month supply!

Too much trouble even though works well and difficult to get off later

Takes to long cutting with scissors to align the inside of your choppers. I'm new at this brand, but overall it does work. For me it takes a little time to fit properly, a little time est 5-10 mins.

The instructions make it look easier than it actually is. I tried a few very frustrating times. Disaster. I don’t think they stayed in very well and the slime you deal with is gross. I have tried one lady’s recommendation and (excellent for bottom dentures!) that is put the powder on the denture as directions call for, then use the tube of fixadent over the powder, yes, over the powder. It was a game changer for me. I can chew (not the best, I’m new to dentures) but able to actually keep them in long enough to try. I was feeling dentures was my biggest worst decision I’ve ever made. But with that tip of trying the two together I’m much happier. I’d try these strips with the gel but the strips cause too much messy goo that I think they’d just slide around and not suction like they should. I never thought dentures would suck as much as they do. I mean it’s nice when I talk to have teeth that aren’t all broken. But getting used to them sucks!! Plus it’s very frustrating. I wish I would have done more research on getting dentures. I didn’t know YouTube was overfull on videos of people talking about their dentures and they’re trial and errors. It’s like a huge support group, well once they are comfortable with their dentures. Lots of tips that are helpful and give you a confidence boost to just get used to them.
