A bit less dense than a true in-the-tin-type balm. Maintains its firmness at room temp. The rose scent is mild in the jar but dissipates completely when on the face. It’s deodorized – without chemicals - so ZERO animal smell. The cream is off-white and absorbs right away leaving the skin minimally balmy (not oily). Non-comedogenic means it will not clog pores. 5-ounce jar is plenty compared to smaller tins that cost way more. It’s true that a little goes a long way on my man’s face. This is for my husband who takes great care of his nice Asian skin. High quality CLEAN tallow balm! I want my own.

I’ve tried several similar tallow products but this is the best so far. I’ve already purchased another jar so I won’t be without when this runs low. I didn’t think I’d like the rose aroma but it is so subtle I barely notice it. I use this on my face, neck, chest and arms. A little goes a long way. It’s very emollient and soothing and has great staying power, but absolutely not greasy at all. It is a generous amount for the money .. much more product than some of the others I’ve tried. It has great texture; solid in the jar but melts quickly in your hands for smooth application. I love that it’s made from grass-fed cattle. You’ll enjoy this!

Ok, honest review, I have been using this for 3 days now, and let me just say, my face is so soft, a little goes a long way, literally maybe a pea size. It’s non greasy and smells wonderful! Absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling supple and smooth. I will highly recommend this product. I have rosacea and can honestly say the redness has gone down.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Absent of other added chemicals. No beefy, or greasy smell. Pleasant lite scent. Rub it in, and it really gets absorbed. Even tho weather is in 90’s it does not separate or melt. Kept in a room at about 75, and is fine. Will definitely buy again. Most of my dry sun damage on face and arms has disappeared. Skin is soft and smooth.Love it

Creamy, smooth, non greasy moisturizing balm. It is scented with a hint of rose. The ingredients are simple and wholesome and very nourishing for all skin types. Exactly what I was looking for and the price and quality are excellent! I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know!

This stuff gets 5 stars from me so far. The packaging is really well done, the consistency is nice. It does take some warming up with your finger in the jar to get it to soften so you can get it out but not nearly as much as some shea products I've used. The smell is great, very subtle. My skin felt immediately moisturized and not oily. It also just feels good, energetically speaking. My skin seemed very happy to receive the tallow and there aren't any chemicals or anything in here that give me ick. My face is heavily prone to eczema while I'm pregnant and has combination oily and dryness the rest of the time, and this made every part of my face super happy. I feel like I could put makeup on now and not get the ick from having foundation on top of moisturizer.Skin feels dewy and I feel good knowing I'm putting a natural product on my face that will help repair my skin.
