Love it!
You can actually see reflections on the mirror blade! It’s nice chopping and prepping with a nice new sharp knife! I know dull knifes are technically more dangerous but this blade is so sharp that I accidentally sliced my skin a tiny bit and it was such a “nice” cut that it didn’t break the layer with blood vessels! (Shallow cut and didn’t hurt) (good lesson to be careful while cleaning and using it with better technique) I’ve been preparing food with an $8 set of knives that all have the same serrated dull blades just cut into diff shapes and I’m so happy I finally upgraded. It SLICES kitchen time in half. ☺️ I’m happy but I’m no expert. I simply upgrading from the cheapest possible knives 😅 I prepped garlic, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños, and ginger for the whole week and feel so on top !

Maybe not for large hands.
I’ve had this knife for about a month now and use it daily. I run it through the dish washer most times and the finish has held up well. It still looks good. It hasn’t scratched up at all. The edge has held up nicely and the wooden handle hasn’t swollen from being in the dish washer like some cheaper knives I’ve had. If I have any critiques of the knife it would be that I wish the handle was at least half an inch longer. I do have large hands but I’d say average size for a man 6ft tall. I have no issues holding the knife but I’d prefer not to have part of my palm hanging off the back. For my wife though it fits her hand perfectly. Overall a good quality knife for the money that I enjoy using and looks good to the eye.

Awesome and affordable Chef's knife
Nothing else to add. Great looking, incredibly sharp, well balanced, and feels good in the hand. Very happy with the purchase. And did I say affordable and great value?

This is a sharp knife. It has a short handle, and strange cutouts in the handle
This knife is beautiful – it comes in a box that screams ‘quality’ and, upon opening the box, shows a plastic (?) handle that appears to be layered wood, and a very shiny blade. The blade IS sharp – it does well chopping vegetables. It made quick work of some skinless, boneless chicken thighs. For many cooks, this may become your go-to chef’s knife. A bolster (the raised metal at the back of the blade that stops your hand from sliding onto the blade) gives this knife the look of a much more expensive knife. There are two indentations at the front of the handle – these encourage you to put your hands in those areas. This isn’t a bad idea, it worked for me. The biggest problem that I had with this knife was the relative shortness of the handle. I have big hands. I’m used to having the handle reach the back of my hand – this one stopped about an inch short. It took some getting used to. For the price, it’s a good knife. The knife doesn’t appear to be full tang (a full tang knife has the metal go all the way to the back of the knife – this knife probably has metal that only goes a few inches into the handle. There are many other 8-inch chef’s knives in this price range. You won’t be disappointed by the KBK knife – but you may like others even more.

Awesome
Best knife I ever owned. Beautiful handle. I have been in the restaurant industry all my life. Not sure why it I was so cheap. So far all good 👍🏽👍🏽

Super sharp/ becareful when opening
Very sharp! Becareful when opening the outside plastic. The bladed shifted during shipping & protruded through the hard cardboard box cover. It sliced my index. Picture capture the shifted blade point

Bought for wife and she says didn't stay sharp long
I bought for my wife and she is not happy with it and said it went dull very quick. She sharpens her own knifes and is not happy with this one so I would not recommend.

A nice gift.
My son asked for a Chef Knife for Christmas, and this is what I bought. The packaging is nice, he probably thought I spent more than I did because of the box it comes in. Ha! The knife is a good weight and will be easy to clean. I have no idea how durable it will be yet, but it looked like that won't be a problem. I also bought him a knife sharpener, because a dull knife never works well, no matter how much you spend on it.

Edit to add more info after a bit of use - This knife needs cleaning as soon as you use it if possible, I only left this in my sink, no water, for a few hours and I have a small patch of rust. I would not recommend leaving it in the bowl, simply clean and replace back in the box asap. This knife cut through paper like it was thin air! Chefs kitchen knife for multipurpose use. Packaged well. It arrived in a really nicely designed, black lift up style box. The knife within was beautifully presented. The knife is just exceptional to look at initially, everyone loves a new knife, especially a good knife! The knife is roughly 33cm long, the handle makes up 11cm of that and the handle is roughly 3cm wide. The first test I did was with paper, (my partner insisted, as he is quite into his kitchen knives), this actually impressed me and went straight through the paper, easily at that, with no rough edges in sight. Carving meat is better than I thought it would be, preparation just got a heck of a lot easier! It cut through my butternut squash so much better than I've done it before, I didn't think that was even possible!! It cuts bread also, which I was nicely surprised by. This is a stunning chef knife, it works fantastically, it does seem quite well made and a little weighty. My only concern is, I wonder how the handle is attached, it feels very secure right now but if it's for instance, say glue, I would want to know so I don't misuse cleaning it etc, a little information about the knife and how to care for the knife correctly, would be an added bonus and it would be quite helpful.

I'm not usually a fan of unknown brand kitchen knives, but I was actually quite impressed with this one. It's very sharp, well finished, fits my hand comfortably, and is made from decent materials. The handle is formed of G10, a fibreglass composite that's decorative, super-tough, and waterproof, making washing an easy task. The blade is mirror polished, and as with any proper chefs knife, requires daily honing to maintain the razor sharp edge. If you expect to use a kitchen knife then throw it back in the drawer without maintaining the blade, you're better off purchasing something cheap and disposable from the supermarket instead. In general, the higher up you go in terms of price and sharpness, the more maintenance a blade will require. Fifty pounds might sound like a lot of money for a kitchen knife if you're unused to high end cutlery, but I think that's a fair cost for this knife. I'm someone who is lucky enough to own kitchen knives ranging in cost from five pounds to upwards of four hundred, so I believe I have a good set of reference points for my conclusion. On the price/performance scale this knife is certainly worth five stars, in my opinion.
