I was looking for a replacement meeting the requirements to get a cheaper rate on the uk insurance. This is exactly it. Super easy to mount and screw. I never done it before and all you need is a tutorial in youtube and a screwdriver. After 10min you’re done! The brass color is nice, photos from object description are reflective of what you’ll get. Key goes in even easier than in my old lock and they feel more secure. Will repeat my purchase once I move out. Ps: Consider a metalsaw in case your rim cylinder is too long for your door (which wasn’t the case for mine).

As a replacement for a non kite marked rim cylinder, this was a very quick and easy installation - just needed to cut the bolts and the central shaft to the correct length and away you go! On that point though, please note that the parts that need cutting are metal and will need suitable tools such as a junior hacksaw and a means of holding it steady - I used pliers but a vice is probably better if you have one. The inclusion of four keys was excellent and I think the lock was very good value for money.

It said that fit all the brand nightlatches. However, it’s not fit the model: Yale P-77-ENB-PB-60. I tried for over an hour and can’t fix the rim cylinder securely. I found the replacement has two steps in it but the original doesn’t. Thus , the screw not fit .

Sturdy lock with extra security. Easy to install in place of older lock but note you need a hacksaw to adjust striker to the depth of your door. Otherwise its just a screwdriver swap-over

I had to change the lock because my insurance says the lock must have a kite mark on it. The old one didn’t. Straightforward replacement - however a little bit of know-how required. As commented on by quite a few folk - if you are replacing an older lock then the bolts can be too long. To shorten the bolts you need some of the electrical strippers that have bolt trimmers - look it up on YouTube - plenty of videos to show you how. I had to take 5mm off my bolts to get the lock to fit properly. You also have to trim the tang to the right length - that’s why it has all the grooves. Easy to trim with pliers. Other than having a sturdier barrel (to prevent a particular type of attack) the keys are the same pattern as the ones I replaced so I would not say the lock itself is any more secure than the one I replaced - it says anti-pick but I am not convinced.

Comprado para una cerradura Azbe de tres puntos. Encaja perfectamente, pero el espadín no coincide con la posición del bombillo interior, uno es vertical y el otro horizontal. Funciona desde el exterior pero he tenido que anular el bombillo interior. Para el uso que le doy va perfecto.
