Lifeproof FRĒ Series Waterproof Case for Samsung Galaxy S9+ - Retail Packaging - Chakra (Rose/Fusion Coral/Royal Lilac)

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. After being a die hard Griffin case survivor fan (swore by them even told people at work about them never bought anything else) I had to get a new phone. The s9 plus. Sadly I like my industrial protect your phone cases. No water dirt sand. Well found this. The reviews made me worry a bit not gonna lie. But, got it put it on the phone and this thing is awesome. Screen works fine for me the edge thingy touch sensitivity I didn't even have to turn on the little extra sensitive setting. Got the clip recommend for the case as well also seems and works well. And surprisingly, I don't normally use the speaker phone nor do I listen to my music through the phone I use Bluetooth but I tested both out and they don't sound too badd compared to what I'm used to with an industrial phone case. Always thought it was a trade off. Protect your expensive phone lose some things like being able to hear as well or others hearing you or distortion of music. I always use a headset because of that and if I don't want to now well as I said phone sounds fine. Friends could hear me even when not on speaker phone and it seems well made and stylish. Part of the reason I'm an industrial phone case person they are the only ones that have clips. I don't can't stand my phone never had it in my pocket and being a construction worker I need something protective. So if this case holds up say, 6 months? It's worth it to me even if I need to buy another one. Just one person's opinion I guess.

Originally bought this exact case from Lifeproof's website for $95 plus $15 shipping and handling. After paying, almost immediately found it on Amazon for $19.95, and the one from Amazon beat theirs to my house by over a week! Returning Life Proof's way overpriced one though! I absolutely love this case, its ultra sleek and slim and not even in the least bit bulky but still makes my S9+ completely shock proof, waterproof, dirt proof, and as the name suggests life proof! Accidentally dropped my phone out of car window and it got ran over without a scratch and into the bathtub within 3 days of receiving my very expensive refurbished mint condition S9+ and this case, first it saved me $80 buying it here instead of Lifeproof's site then it saved me the $300 I spent on my refurbished phone but was too cheap to spring for the $20 2 year insurance plan. In your face Samsung Verified Refurbishing Center! My girlfriend liked mine so much after she saw it on my phone and then in action because of my clumsiness she immediately went and bought a purple case of the same model for her S9 after lecturing me on how much better the $40 case she bought from Ebay was gonna be. Turns out, I was able to order my case, use it for 3 days, convince her she needs one, wait til payday, and get her Lifeproof Fre case from Amazon and she still hasn't received the one she originally ordered from ebay that is basically just an offhand shock proof case that would have offered absolutely zero water damage protection and the lifeproof was less than half the price with free shipping!

Great product

I bought this to help protect my phone when used in/near a hot tub. Since using the case, my phone has accidentally fallen into a hot tub and left for 30 minutes, and it came out dry with no issues. My phone does feel well protected from falls in this case, I have dropped my phone and the only thing I noticed was once the corner of the case popped open, but was easily re-closed with no damage to the case or phone. The back camera appears to be unaffected by this case. Pictures are still stunning and clear. However, pictures taken with the selfie camera often appear blurry. The sound quality is good with this case on, both when talking on the phone as well as when playing music or games. I haven't really notices a dip in sound quality. The charging port is easy to access, although you need a little bit of a fingernail to open it. This is ok by me as this keeps the phone waterproof. The audio port is easy enough to access by unscrewing the cover, and any headphones that I have work with the cutout. I use this with several versions of Samsung Wireless chargers, and the phone charges without issue (on standing chargers the phone just needs to be placed horizontally). I did notice that the touchscreen didn't respond well around the edges with this case on. However, it is fine if you turn up the touch sensitivity. The main negative to this cover is that it renders the fingerprint reader all but useless. It works a small percentage of the time, and so I usually give up and just type a password (or use the iris scanner, which I set up only after getting this case).

I really like this phone case. I had another cheaper waterproof case that I got on Amazon that lacked in quality in every way compared to this one. The lifeproof has a super clear screen protector, keeps the phone thin but adds a lot of protection, has little grills on the stereo speakers so it is still loud, and just feels snug and comfortable to hold. I was hesitant to spend nearly 100$ on a case, as this was my first lifeproof, but I immidately saw why they sell these cases for a premium price. This is the best protection you can get for these expensive phones and they have some how managed to make the case thin as possible and really ergonomic. I'm a big fan and think it's totally worth it. Only downside is the colors.

The case for the S9 is awesome! Mine got left on top of my friends Blazer, and I seen it fly off the top of it at about 25 MPH. I walked the 30 yards to get it. There was some scratches on the case, but the phone was still like new. Got back to the house and took the case off an put in water per the manufacturer instructions. It was still waterproof and worked great, but looked a little rough. HOWEVER, IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY THAT LIFEPROOF DID NOT MAKE THE FRE SERIES FOR THE S20+.

Good quality. Works well and worth the price.

Not to convinced on the water proof although I did test it with the phone out of case and it did work. but over time opening an closing the case it would probably not be worth taking the risk of going into water with your phone. But over all a pretty good case I have dropped my s9 + several times on concrete and the phone is fine. But the price I find is to high. But its is a good product.

I never use the finger print reader. Case is great waterproof, feels good to doesnt feel cheap. Case is tight tho, my glass protector I have on it had a small crack I put the case on which was a struggle and it cracked the glass protector more where the case is tight. Seems like it wasnt suppose to go on with the glass protector. I highly recommend if you are looking for a waterproof case.

Zusammen mit einer Encased Halterung beste Kombi die ich jemals besessen habe. Otterbox Defender, Spigen oder Unicorn Beetle Pro kommen da nicht dran. Wobei Preis/Leistung bei der Unicorn Beetle Pro unschlagbar ist.
