PILOT Precise V7 RT Refillable & Retractable Liquid Ink Rolling Ball Pens, Fine Point (0.7mm) Black Ink, 2-Pack (26056)

After using a pen I got from a random Marriott in Salt Lake City, I knew I'd found my pen-mate. It was amazing, passionate, and comfortable. It was reliable, always there for me, and could even predict what I was going to write... In all seriousness, it was the perfect pen. But of course, when it dried out and passed on, I couldn't find it again. So I went on a search to find the perfect pen, based off of what I already knew to be my dream pen. I am pleased to say that the Pilot Precise V7 RT is the next best thing to that elusive, bereaved hotel pen.The Pilot V7 has the perfect weight to it. It's barely noticeable in your hand, an extension of it. I have relatively long fingers, but the pen fits perfectly in my hand and my three resting fingers lay perfectly on the comfortable rubber grip. It has a thin writing tip and the letters come out in perfect width for what I'm looking for. I write notes all the time for my clients to read when I'm done with resolving their PC issues, and every word is crafted and filled. It barely ever misses a stroke. The ink is a perfect black. The retractable has a great click and tactile feedback. The pen itself is aesthetically high class looking, a sleek metallic silver; it looks expensive.I'm sure that this will be my go to pen from now on when working. At least until I track down that Marriott one...

I HAVE BEEN USING THESE PENS FOR YEARS BECAUSE OF THE SMOOTHNESS OF THE PEN AND THE EASE YOU CAN WRITE, FOR HOURS. THEY SEEM TO LAST LONGER THEN OTHER PENS.

As far as I'm concerned these are the best pens on the market at any price. BUT I only use these indoors and I cannot speak as to how well they would work in cold/damp weather or freezing conditions. I can say that the zebra f-301 pen works perfectly in all weather, but this pilot pen moves easier across the paper and there are NEVER any gaps or areas of uneven ink. But that's for INDOOR room temperature use. WARNING the V7 is a wide-ball pen, the writing is much thicker than a standard ball point pen and almost looks like what a fine point Sharpie would produce. So if your penmanship is on the smaller side the V7 is not for you. The V5 is better if you are looking to write normally: the V7 is for bold writing. ALSO the tips on the pilot V5 and V7 are very skinny cylindrical shape and if you drop it on the point or if you forget to click it when you're done writing and the tip gets knocked, it WILL bend or break and it's game over for your pen, unlike the F301 which has a robust conical tip. And put the pen away when you're done with it because if you leave it in plain view in your office or whatever, guaranteed someone will rob it. Thank you.

I love the feel of these pens and I love the way the ink behaves! These V7 size are pretty fine, but the V5 are even more fine and I love them both for different purposes. I can't always find them in stores, and I'm awfully particular about my pens, so I appreciate that I can get just a 2-pack here for a reasonable price. They seem to be long-lasting, although, I don't really pay attention to that because I mainly care about how they feel when writing with them, and how easy it is to write neatly. They get high marks on all of that. Highly recommend for pen nerds like me.

I've been a fan of the capped V7 pins for a very long time. These have easily become my new favorite pens. I bought the 3-pack to take them for a test-drive, then my wife annexed them so I bought a 12-pack. They write very smoothly with a thick bold line. Great for taking fast notes at meetings or in the field, or jotting down a quick idea. If you are looking to keep something at your desk for slower writing you may want the V5. It depends on how bold you like your writing.I still used the capped colored V7 and V5 pens when Im doing schematics or calculations that can benefit from color. these have just become my "daily driver" pens.

Smooth writing, excellent quality and clicky. This is everything I wanted in a pen. Hopefully they don't dry out too quickly. They do come with a wax cap over the tip to keep them from drying out in the package and I left the tip on 2 as I use the 3rd.

Good quality and ink flow really nice pens I won't buy any other pens

I have a friend in the Army who is the only person more particular about pens than I am. He told me that everyone he knew in the service loves these. They're the best pen for the money.

These are the first Pilot Precise V7 RT that I've used and I ordered it based on online reviews. I've been using Uni-ball Signo 207 pens for the past several years now and I find the Precise V7's to be a better writing experience. The ink is noticeably darker and feels smoother. It dries quickly on the notebooks I use and the lines are sharp. On thinner paper, you will see some bleed through though. I'm guess the V5's would have less of that because of the finer point.
