This fountain replaced one that had a reservoir bottle over the top. I think this one is much more safe in respects to water leaks than that design, It is also much quieter than the one I had.I like the looks of this one and it is really dead silent. The cats took a little bit of time to warm up to it, but they did.It has a blue light when full and red light when it needs to be filled which is nice.But, it pretty much has to be completely taken apart to be filled tho, with my two cats it lasts about a week maybe a little bit longer, so it's not like it has to be done all the time.It's a good opportunity to clean it, there's not a lot of parts and they all clean up really easy.When it does run empty, the pump stops and leaves a little bit in the top reservoir for the cats to keep drinking. There's still about an inch of water in the lower tank, I guess to keep the pump from burning up if dry.Overall it's a nice looking fountain, the cats like it and water lasts a good while.

Works beautifully and more than enough water for my two cats the cats also love it. It’s also very quiet. Easy to install. The water flows quietly and smoothly. I do hope there isn’t an electrical issue though the cable does go in the water

I have 2 little dogs (15 lbs) and would have to change and clean their water bowl daily. I wanted something that would last several days and the bottom not get yucky. This has not disappointed. It took them a couple of days to get used to it. The water flow is quiet, the dogs love the fresh water and I like that you can see the water level. I change their water every 4-5 days. It’s pretty easy to wash everything and put it back together. It comes with extra filters as well. I’m always surprised how much dirt is in the filter from the dogs drinking. Overall I am really happy with it.

The pump broke after 3 months of use, but we did accidentally let the water run down to nothing overnight. However, I contacted customer service and Olivia walked me through the steps to send a video of the issue. She then sent me a replacement pump free of charge! It is up and running now which made me (and my cat) very happy!The filter on this model has to be changed much more frequently than my previous fountain, which I don’t like, which is the only reason for the 4 star rating! It will end up costing me more in filters so that’s not good, but it is still a good replacement for my previous one that they no longer make apparently.

My cat was alittle at first but now she loves it. Easy to assemble and works perfectly

I really liked this fountain due to being stainess steel. It was easy to clean, and filters were heavy duty. The size was great too..i have 3 cats and didnt have to fill as often. Unfortunately it only lasted about 3 months. I cleaned it routinely and it just stopped pumping the water. Disappointed.

Love love love this fountain. Completely quiet. I got one for the cats in my bedroom and you don’t hear the motor running at all. The little light isn’t that bright so it doesn’t disturb anyone when sleeping. I liked it so much I had to get a second one.

The fountain worked fine for 1 month. Then, after I unplugged it for it's weekly cleaning, the pump will not come back on. I tried to reach out to the manufacturer and have gotten no response.
