A really great bag at really reasonable price...
This bag just made its maiden voyage from Ohio to Montana and back with no issues. Not only did it fit all of my fishing gear in the bottom compartment, but the main compartment held enough for a 10 day trip. The only issues that I have are with the boot compartment and rod stowage. My wading boots (size 13) were a real challenge to get in the boot compartment. It is, however, a very nice feature. My two fishing buddies have the Fish Pond bags, which cost $300 and have no boot storage. My boots were still pretty wet when I packed for the airport, so these pouches are really handy! The only other issue is with rod stowage in the bottom compartment. My 10'6" Echo Shadow II 4 piece is a "shoehorn" fit. It literally had to be wedged in there. Lastly I should probably mention that this bag holds enough gear to be overweight at the bag check with the airlines. Mine weighed in at 48.5lbs, just 1.5lbs shy of the limit. So, be sure to weigh your bag before leaving for the airport! The bottom line is that I'm very happy with this purchase!

AMAZON TESTED
I don't normally take the time to write a review but my experience with this luggage requires it. I recently took a trip to the Colombian Amazon - my second trip to the jungle. I went primarily to fly fish but ultimately brought more tackle than I anticipated and this luggage held it all. Safely and securely. It is a little taller than a typical ski bag or even a fishing piece of luggage but its overall volume is the same. It kept my gear, clothes and provisions safe from Miami to Bogota, From Bogota to the airstrip in the jungle then thru portage and ultimately a 3 hour occaisionally wet trip by river to our camp. On the way back conditions were quite rough and quite a bit of my clothing was packed wet for the journey home. I used one of the three waterproof compartments (I guess designed for waders) and got the balance of my packed goods home safe and sound. For a company I never heard of before they have an exceptional product at a better than fair price.

Wish it were more durable
I've been using this bag for a little over a year now. I use it as a daily luggage for driving around the country for my job. The material itself is good, but the zippers are starting to fall apart, especially on the backside where you stand it up at. All the zipper pulls have broken, i've replaced those with split rings. The waterproof compartments lasted about 7-8 months before starting to deteriorate.I feel like this would be a great buy for someone that will use this occasionally, but for daily use, look elsewhere. It wasn't cheap and now i'm looking at buying something else in a year, whereas my garage sale used luggage find for 5$ lasted almost six years. Sometimes it's just too good to be true.

Very Nice but....
The duffel is made of great material and seems durable. It has many pockets, but the wading boots compartment should be bigger and deeper we all know those boots are bolky. The duffel should be wider and have some deeper pockets for fly lines and more equipment, specially if you going somewhere remote, but I like it.,At first I wanted to return it,but I decided give a try. It is a pricely I had Riccardo from Costco for $50 past 10 years and it started falling apart. I was able to fit two waders ( inbcase of leak there is nothing worse than cold water seaping in waders) ,pair of boots and some clothing, box of 6 fly rels. Other stuff I have in my back pack and fany pack. I reduced my equipment only for steelhead fishing and all light equipment put a side. Will see how it will perform))))

Best Bag for Flyfishing International
Really good bag. Like the compartment for the rods. I can’t tell that anyone makes a bag like this. Thank you! In my opinion better than what Simms or Patagonia offers for similar product. Couple of suggestions for improvement if you’re interested:Use a higher quality zipper. Although I didn’t have any issues, the zippers concern me for repeated use/abuse.The dry pockets are useless. Don’t spend money on these. Just make them regular pockets. They are not big enough to put wet stuff in (such as waders). They seem useless and just take up space. Is it possible to make the rod section more rigid? Typically on trips I like to have 3-4 rods with me. Putting the rod tube in is a waste of space but felt inclined to leave in rod tube because the rods are about 800 each. Thanks for making an amazing product! Really look forward to seeing future additions and improvements. Look forward to taking mine on my next adventure!

Disappointed definitely will return it.
This bag is worthless. None of the zippers lock. Useless for airline travel or leaving in storage at your hotel etc. how could a luggage manufacturer make a bag that doesn’t accommodate a lock.WORTHLESS

Well Made and Well Designed
Great for long rods. I was able to lay a 3 piece 8'-6" rod diagonally with shorter rods lengthwise. The bottom section is very rigid and should protect the rods no problem. Also able to put my chest waders in the top section with more than half of the bag still able to use for other items. Also have TWO end zippered pockets that have a waterproof lining. I like the idea that there are two top adjustable cross straps to cinch the bag tight. Good quality wheels that are very quiet. The best bag that works well for fishing and meets the airline size requirements.

Nice & Durable, Wish It Was Longer!
Purchased this bag for our annual fishing trip. Though it is not long enough to hold the poles in the bottom of the bag (we use poles that only separate in the middle), the bag was able to hold the rest of our equipment just fine (tackle boxes, net, live well basket, snacks, extra clothing, etc.).The zippers are really nice and sturdy. It rained on us several times. The bag got soaked on the outside, but everything inside stayed nice and dry.It was easy to roll on and off the pontoon boat.
