Bought the eaglerise transformer and connected it to 6 x 4w leds, after a few minutes all leds start flickering. anyone and ideas what's causing it?

Thing to remember is that this is a switched mode power supple and the DC output is not perfectly smooth. As the advert says, "HALOGEN" . These bulbs use a filament which will not respond to the switching frequency. LED stands for light emitting "DIODE". The diode means it is trying to rectify the ac component of the DC ouput hence the flickering. You need a specific LED power supply for these led bulbs with a smoothed rectified and regulated output. (FYI I have ONC/HNC electronic engineering as a background)Ray

What are the diameter and depth please? I need to replace a 230v 50hz input, 12v output 175va unit which currently supplies 5 X 35w halogens.

Hi, the dimensions of the SET300CK are 120mm diameter x 40mm depth with a 12mm centre hole. If you only need maximum 175 watt rating your other option is to use the Eaglerise SET210CS (search on Amazon ID = B007FX1AW2) which has a maximum 210 watt rating and dimensions of 118mm max length x 79mm width x 40mm depth with a central 10mm hole.Hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
