TOMSHOO Cycling Backpack, 20L Lightweight Daypack-Waterproof backpack, Hiking Travel Backpack with Rain Cover Helmet Cover

The TOMSHOO 30L Cycling Backpack is my favorite hydration backpack. I've spent hours comparing dozens of hydration backpacks and tried several. But the TOMSHOO is my favorite for several reasons.1. Large capacity - I got the 30L in florescent green as that is visible and safe especially when traveling alone. I can easily be spotted if I need help.2. Waist belt - there are pocketed waist belt to hold things as well as strap keeper ring to keep the straps from dangling and snagging.3. Load lifters - helps pull up the backpack if the backpack is full.4. Compression straps - helps hold heavy load close together to avoid jostling and shifting the backpack load.5. Hydration hose clips - helps hold hydration hose on either side for right or left handed users6. Help whistles - there are an additional loud whistle in addition to the one built into the sternum strap.7. Adjustable height sternum strap to adjust for maximum support and comfort.8. Reflective strips in front and on shoulder straps that also act as hydration hose anchors to keep the hose in line with shoulder straps.9. Helmet mesh holder is stored in a separate zippered compartment to attach a bike helmet to the backpack.10. Separate pocket for a color matched rain cover.11. 2 side mesh pockets for additional bottles.12. Bottom straps can be used to strap in a large jacket, a rolled blanket or long hiking sticks that won't fit into the internal compartments.13. Big large compartment holds a 3L hydration bladder with a small center opening for the hydration hose. The compartment is 3" wide to hold other large items.14. Big full length small compartment with large divider and 2 separate pockets to store a tablet/papers and phone, keys, etc.15. Large plastic covered zipper pulls to make it easy to grasp and open/close high quality zippers.16. Wide top carry handle to grab the pack in one hand.17. Large ventilated backpack that allows ventilation.18. Large detachable color matched pouch for storing glasses, keys, credit cards, phone, etc. It can be attached to the shoulder strap or on my belt loop.19. Great economical price for all the features and large size.20. Available in a 20L size as well for those who need a smaller size.There's only a copy of small list of features that this backpack doesn't have as separate left/right openings for hydration hose. Additional straps to hold conventional water bladders that have 2 separate attachment points. Insulated compartment for the hydration bladder.But this backpack is great for hiking and for biking with primary use of a hydration pack.

I use this backpack weekly to go to the gym. It’s a tad smaller than I hoped-it only holds a pair of size 8 shoes, a t-shirt, sports bra, and leggings. I had to smoosh a light sweatshirt in there one time, but wasn’t sure it was going to fit. So there is that. The front pocket has a few small pockets to organize things and has some space to leave something loose in the whole space. I got the red, black and yellow colors and they are bright and looks like I’m ready for a race!!! I love it! The zippers seem like good quality and have large grabbers which is nice. There are a lot of points for attaching carabiners and has the option to hold a water bladder. The back material seems breathable but haven’t challenged it. I think this is a great backpack for light trips and the colors are great! I haven’t tested the rain cover but it’s super cool that it is built in! I would recommend this!

I'll start off by saying that you get what you pay for- which isn't a bad thing. The pack is light with ample storage space for someone needing extra clothes and food. Note that the nylon is thin and will probably rip if you pack anything with hard edges. The shoulder straps have next to no padding which limits the load you may want to carry and the length of time. I bought it for cycling to work and wish they sowed on long high vis strip down it's length- they were chinsy in that department. The pockets in the smaller compartment should be deeper. Haven't tried in rain yet with the cover.Bottom line: functional, adequate, good value, just don't abuse it and expect it to survive.

I am going on a cycling trip this next week and was looking for a bag that was portable but didn't break the bank, I not only got both, but the bag came with so much more!I would refer to this bag a little bigger than a hydration bag, but still small enough for rigorous travel. The nice thing about it is you can fit a water bladder in this and there is a convenient hole for your water tubing to come out. There are also plastic brackets running along the straps too allow the straw to sit snug and secure while not in use.The two way zippers are a must, and I am glad they were included on this model because locking bags when not in use is something I need in a bag. The straps all around the bag are very durable and easy to tighten when you need bulky loads to fit snug in your bag.The material of this bag has a sporty feel which feels both breathable and athletic. Although I assume it isn't waterproof, the bag comes with a rain cover that allows you to cover the bag when exposed to excessive weather..In summary this bag is a must for the outdoors. At first it may seem too compact, but there are endless pockets and spaces to fit items you may need that it almost seems like a magic bag. The front phone pouch is nice for easy phone storage, and also detachable if it is not needed.Great amazon product! I couldn't be happier with the design! I plan on using this bag for my next spartan race!

The backpack was comfortable, is lightweight, has a belly strap long enough to span my girth, my back remained cool and mostly dry, and I like the multiple pockets and outside straps; however, it could be so much better. 1. Seeing a 20 liter pack of another brand made me question if this really is a 20 liter bag, the other bag looked much bigger. 2. I wish they added an insulated sleeve for the hydration pack hose. 3. The hook & loop strap that holds the hydration pack in place does not hold. 4. The cell phone bag that attaches to the shoulder strap is to small for many of today's cell phones. 5. The small pockets sewn into the belly strap are very small, I used one to hold my keys, they should be larger. To offset this, I sewed a fanny bag type pocket onto the strap (see photo) and this worked well to hold my phone.
