Would be nice to have one available for 1/8in but this works effortlessly for the 1/4” armature

Good working as advertised using for teddy eyes

So, this is a pair of 1/4 pliers for tubing. Does 1/4 mean 1/4"? NO. This comes with two loose metal gasket plates that you're supposed to somehow put into the pliers. Okay. I hammered them in, giving this system the best chance of working short of welding them on. Trying to connect two pieces of armature, one of the plates flew off across the room. Could have hit me in the eye. Do not recommend. Returning this.

This is way too expensive. You have to buy pliers for ""each size"" ribs you get.

I bought the other version for a larger armature. It worked fine. I got a smaller armature so bought the “smaller” version of this. It’s the exact same pair of pliers except it comes with tiny flimsy metal U pieces. Why didn’t they just make the pliers themselves smaller? The U pieces are practically worthless, they don’t actually connect or insert. You just stick them on and hope they stay. And that’s if you figure out how to use it. There are no instructions. But taking them apart is one thing, at least there’s a groove to slide the U into. Putting back together you have to balance it on the armature while trying to line things up, it is stupidly finicky and like trying to juggle multiple pieces. And if you try to use it to make a skeleton by connecting Y or X pieces (you know, literally the whole reason you probably bought it for?) you can just forget about it. You just end up with plastic getting shaved off the connector pieces before everything goes flying in different directions. If you are getting this for the larger size, fine. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT THE SMALLER SIZE.
