Small, but healthy and viable plants!
Actual rating: 4.5 stars. The plants arrived safely (packaging could have been better), and they have been in the ground for about a week and are doing very well! They are not large, but they all took, so I'm pleased. Recommend.

Buyer Beware
I received and planted these "Primark Freedom" blackberries 2 years ago. They were 4 starter blackberry plants that I was going to learn on. They grew large; however. in the first year, no berries. I decided to let them continue, and new canes came up that year. I also planted 60 Primark Freedoms from my local nursery and planted a large patch of them. Interestingly, the plants I purchased from this amazon vendor look nothing like the 'freedoms' I got from the nursery. When I did a little cleanup this last fall, I noticed these grew in big arches, got to ground an spread new canes. My large patch of real freedoms did not. I consulted an expert to ask what these plants were.I found that these plants that are being sold as "Prime-Ark Freedom" are actually an INVASIVE SPECIES of blackberry known as Himalayan Blackberries that is recommended to be removed by I would not buy anything from this vendor. They are likely just propagating a plant that is grown in the wild and selling them as popular plants at a premium. This seller is scamming you! This is a snippet from a USDA document concerning this plant: "Oregon lists Himalayan blackberry as a noxious weed, and the California Invasive Plant Council rates this species as highly invasive. It is increasingly becoming a problem within southwestern riparian areas"

Purchased in 2021--still alive and well
I purchased these plants in 2021 and have held off writing a review until I got a solid growing season in. Last year was a success and they are returning without any issues.I will say this much--the reason that I gave the seller four stars--they need to be plainer in their ad about the actual size of the plants they will be shipping out and the care they will require. At this point, I've purchased a fair number of blackberry plants online and this seller's plants were TINY by comparison. (Also, you probably ought to mention the patent).Being me and somewhat goal-oriented by nature, I was determined to keep them alive. So I babied them for their first year, keeping them under shade cloths (they showed sunburn when I didn't) and watering them carefully, and held my breath during the ice storm of (the one that shut Texas down) and to my sheer delight they flourished. I now can't tell the difference between them and the two dozen other plants I have out there. They bore lots of beautiful berries last year.To the guy who claimed he was sold Himalayan Berries by this seller. Himalayan Blackberry plants are huge and have large, stiff thorns. The ones I received from this seller do not have thorns and behave as the other Prime Arcs I have. I suspect he propagates from seeds instead of tipping, which is why his are so small.

Exceeded expectations
I bought these in April of 2024.I wanted to see if they would survive and I'm happy to say all 4 bushes have exceeded my expectations. They are producing what I hope will be delicious berries now and in the future. They seem pretty big as well as no thorns as described. I will wait until they are fully black to try one. Will submit another review later.

One died quickly, the rest are slowly progressing
The arrived very quickly and were as described. Young plants like these are very fragile. They can't withstand much in the way of stress and definitely can't withstand the full day of sun. They have to be transplanted into a larger pot, with room to grow a bit, and kept in a place where they're limited to about 3 hours of sun per day, and lots of shade. After several months of this, they can be planted in the ground, if that's what you choose. I got them into larger pots, with some good potting mix. One of them died very quickly, because they are very fragile. Another died shortly after transplanting into it's permanent home. The other two are progressing, although it's very slowly. One of the reasons might be that it's just too hot for them in Texas in July. Even when they're healthy enough to transplant into the ground, you don't want to do it when it's over 100 degrees, because they might not survive. If I had to do it over again, I might just spend the extra money and get the more mature plants. If you are willing to nurse these to maturity, they're a good value. But if you want plants that are more mature than this, and stand a better chance of survival, spend the extra money and get the more mature plants.

Great merchant, good plants.
I bought these in 23 and the shipping was delayed, which allowed some of the plants to dry out. Hello Organics took care of it by shipping more. They are very productive plants with large berries.

Tiny plug, not a plant
My first thought was "you have got to be joking". What you receive is a tiny plant in a tiny plug tray. The plant is about 2 inches tall. They shoukd call this a plug, not a plant. Here's hoping they survive. For what they are charging, you shoukd receive a more developed plant. The tiny plants even fell out of the plug tray because they were so small.
