Brilliant and easy way to collect apples
This is brilliant for picking up apples on the ground without much effort. We have a lot of cooking apples that fall each year from our tree that rot and the wasps eat them. It’s a pain to keep picking them all up by hand. This works quickly and easily to pick up, drop in a bucket and bin. Love it.

Game changer
Absolute game changer, easy to assemble and use.The only downside is the attachment doesn't fit on the wheelie bin, this is easily overcome by drilling a couple of holes so that it will slot in.Would definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a back saver!
Bought this to help me collect fallen apples - of which I have hundreds throughout the late summer months. It is simple to use, and I will admit to being surprised at how well it picks up fallen apples. It works well - simple, but effective, and for that I will award it 4 stars. Where it fails me slightly is with the bucket clip. Whilst I am sure it works well on a bucket, it would have been great if it would also work on a wheelie bin. It does not - meaning that it is, in fact, a lot easier to pick up the fallen apples than it is to get them back out of the apple collector! I still like it though!

A must have gadget if you have apple trees!
I don’t usually write reviews but this is a great piece of kit if you have a few apple trees and windfalls to pick up. It cuts all the effort of bending down to pick up the apples which this gadget does so quickly. I gave my son one for his birthday and straight away his 4 year old son had grasped what to do! Who was the present for I wonder?! It had been recommended to me but I had to see it in action to believe it’s true worth. So much so that I ordered another one for my husband the next day and at over 80 he is delighted with it. It would have been helpful to have a basic diagram in the box so had to go back to the product on line to see what the black hook was for (not for hanging up in the shed but to hang over a bucket and the v necked prong opens up the rugby ball gadget to let out the apples. A bit of a fiddle and not always successful but we get the gist. It’s a must have gadget!

A piece of (apple) cake.
What an amazing product this is. We have a large apple tree in our garden which drops apples from May until there are none left. Most of them are half eaten by the Parakeets or squirrels. Up until I bought this product, I have been bending down to pick up the apples from the lawn, which is not good for my back. So I decided to buy this to see if it helped the situation. Boy does it! Simply role the wire ball over the apple and it picks it up off the grass. No pressure is required and if the apple is rotten, simply roll the ball backwards and forwards until the apple is captured. The wire ball holds a lot of apples, probably about 20, but I tend to empty the ball when it has about 10. Emptying is done by pressing the ball across the metal opener which is provided and hooks on the side of a collector bucket. The opener spreads the wires apart and the apples drop into the bucket. It couldn’t be simpler. My only small criticism is that the product comes without any instructions about how to assemble the collector, use it or empty it. This is pretty simple and intuitive anyway and there is a video on Amazon which shows you what to do.

It will last you 10 minutes!
I’ve tried contacting the seller, with no success due to computer generated questions! The product has stopped working effectively after a few uses due to silver spokes clicking out of the plastic holder and apples now fall out as quickly as they go in.
