That said, many of my previous laptops were employer-supplied, but not my last three. . Let me make a few things clear that some other reviewers and question-answerers seem to be confused about. (1) This computer's keyboard IS BACKLIT. Just touch any key or the trackpad and it lights up. End of story!. (2) Resolution IS IN FACT 1080p. You can choose about 15 different resolutions, so it's possible that yours arrived with an inferior setting. Just go to Change Display Resolution. (3) Wifi is IN FACT 802.11ac. I don't know why people don't check these simple facts before posting false comments. Love the 1080p resolution and fast operation. Where I live, download speed is 250-300 mb/s. Beware of a couple of things: when I synced the files from my old computer to this one, the video files didn't transfer. I had about 100 gb of video files on the old machine. So I had to copy them onto an external hard drive, then copy them from the HDD to this computer. Also, when turning the machine on, I suggest waiting until the fan noise has subsided (about 30 seconds), otherwise it tends to shut down on you. The machine was overheating and shutting down all the time when I first used it, but a couple of blasts of compressed air into all its ports solved the issue. Apparently it arrived with dust inside. This is my first foray into Windows 10, so the filing system was a little confusing trying to set up the video files directories. Also, I don't use the tiles; I had a techie configure the computer with desktop icons, and I use Windows Explorer to access files. So, essentially, I'm using it like a Windows 7 computer. By the way, the built-in speakers are excellent for just a laptop, far better than all my previous laptops. If you're one of those who watch movies on a laptop, you don't really need earphones. Keyboard is backlit; you just have to touch any key or the trackpad first and then it lights up. Very useful.

While the laptop is in good condition it has an i5 not an i7 and there's only 250gb not 500gb

I’ve had this computer for 1 week now and only used it a few hours so far. I bought it as a work computer and haven’t used it too much yet. This morning I started it up and the mouse touchpad didn’t work. I contacted Amazon then they routed me to Dell customer support. It took so long that I fixed the problem while on hold. For some reason the driver to the touchpad was lost so I uninstalled the touchpad and restarted which downloaded and installed the driver again. So far no other operating issues but a problem like that so early isn’t a good sign.The one I received does NOT have a touchscreen. It was supposed to but I don’t have a use for it so that isn’t a dealbreaker. The other thing I noticed today is that the version of “renewed” means the company who refurbished this laptop did whatever they needed to regarding hardware then added large stickers to the deck plate, touchpad, touchpad buttons, and the outside lid. If you look closely in the pictures you can see the shiny sticker with the texture covering the smooth black plastic. It even bubbled in one location but I fixed that prior to taking pictures.Pros- it’s quick. Not gaming supercomputer quick but opens google chrome immediately with no wait times for busy websites, YouTube plays immediately, excel and word docs only take a second to load, and I often have multiple windows/tabs up at a time and there has been zero lag so far. I have not tried any photo or video editing yet but plan to for presentations and things in the future.So far I’m happy with the purchase and the laptop works mostly as advertised (minus the lack of touch screen). I’ll update the review if I have any further problems.

This purchase has been one of the very unpleasant ones I have encountered with Amazon. The touchpad is not functioning at all. The promised Professional Windows 10 came as windows 8. The laptop keys had a lot of breadcrumbs and food remains in the keys. This was not only a laptop that was used slackly but was not well taken care of during refurbishing.I would highly advise watching out before purchasing similar items from this source

Does not have back lit keyboard as advertised. Seems to be in decent shape and works fine otherwise.

This Dell Latitude - 7250, is an excellent computer. Delivered on-time, packaging was adequate, the computer actually looks new. It was clean no marks or scratches anywhere on the case and the screen was in excellent condition. Unit functioned as expected. Windows 10 is new for me, and I was challenged loading software for a 2nd monitor. Once I became familiar with the Windows 10 operating system any monitor issues went away.Vendor, has excellent customer service and reached out to me twice in 12 hours to assist with the challenge I was having and offered to send another unit.I would recommend this Vendor and the Dell to anyone looking for a laptop.

The product detail said the screen resolution was 1080p, but I got a lower one of 1366 x 768. That was disappointing and made it less than great. Also, the keyboard keys looked new because of a coating on them, but it wore off easily.

This has been a great laptop for someone on the go. Had this for a couple weeks and its been flawless.
