Will this mount under a Trailer with an enclosed underbelly?

My fifth wheel has an enclosed underbelly and it was not a problem. Just make sure you remove a few fasteners on each side and look to see that the new bolts aren’t going to hit any wires or LP lines.

When raised will it stay put ?

I have taken a couple of longer trips since installing it on my Class C. The wheel/tire has not moved. Weight of the spare is 72lb.

Will this fit / work on a ford e450 class c rv? the frame rails are about 48 inches apart. if it mounts underneath the frame rails how does it mount?

It is adjustable on the width, The frame of my trailer was 71 inches wide. There is a center bolt that has to be put in that has no hole for it, it gets drilled out after you set the width. It says 52 inches on the narrow side I see no reason at all that if it didn’t shrink the 48 that you could not cut the one angle down by a couple inches as it is nothing but a U channel. The holes on the end allow you to either go horizontal through your frame or vertical up through your frame to mount. I am mounted to the bottom side of my frame after installing the tire I hung 13inches lower, if you were looking to put your spare under your rig this is the one I would use again.

Can this be used on a class C motorhome with dually wheels? Frame width is fine but I'm not sure about the wheel design/size.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with a dually spare. As long as you put the hump side of the rim facing down the rubber part of the tire will still touch the top cross member which should allow the wheel to still mount tightly to the holder. On a side note. Try and mount the unit in front of the axles. I mounted mine behind the axles (due to a propane line in the way) and it effected the approach angle/clearance. If I pull out of a driveway that is to steep there is a chance the tire might rub. I'm going relocate mine in front of the asexls this summer. Also Mike sure you mount the lowering mechanism on the passenger side of the trailer so your not in the roadway when lowering the spare down.
