Great steamer for vegetables. I liked how the steamer is big to hold lots of vegetables. Steamed my frozen vegetables within 5-10 minutes. Easy to clean and very sturdy. I usually pop it in the dishwasher. Loved the protected handles. It made it easier to move the steamer.

Bigger than I thought, which is good. The lid has a little hole in it for the steam to escape, and steam escapes from underneath the top layer as well. The vegetables (carrots and broccoli) are evenly steamed throughout (though I put the carrots in first). The handles are coated but can still be a little warm; I didn't need oven mitts. The bottom part did 'stain' on the inside from the burner which is why it lost one star; I'm not sure if that happens on all steamers or not. (We all know that burners don't have to be as hot as they are, and I highly doubt it would happen on a glass-top stove.). If I had to buy it again, I would.

We have bought several steamers - this one hands down the best one. We use it literally everyday. It’s so far holding up wonderfully. Cleanes up great - looks great - has a very neat and professional look. We haven’t had any issue of anything burning in it and like I said we use it daily for our vegetables and everything comes out tasting great and cleaning is easy. We do follow the rule of letting it completely cool down before cleaning it. We are very happy with this purchase.

Light weight, sturdy, love the coating on lid, we use for steaming fresh vegetables, works well. Bottom hasn’t warped. Washes up in dishwasher or by hand very easily. Just be sure, as with all streamers, that you scrub off any food residue after use. Durable. Holds enough fresh veggies for the two of us, & would be good size for preparing foods for visiting friends & family. Good value. Would recommend.
