We’ve purchased a few cheaper grocery store treats and he barely wants to take them now. His nose knows! He will take the cheaper treats with by products in them but them spit them out or bury them or really take his time getting around to eating them once he realizes nothing else is coming. The little liver ones are great for training because they are quite small and he’s highly motivated to listen to commands when we use them. I recommend you try this brand for your dogs.
