Very good product.
During the past year I started adding CoQ10 to my supplement regimen. I have no doubt that it's having a positive impact on my health. Sometimes after taking a dose I feel a slight increase in energy and a noticeable increase in my sense of wellbeing. Not surprisingly, a 200mg serving appears to be more effective than 100mg serving. What's been even more pronounced is the difference in effectiveness of different types of CoQ10. I find that the CoQ10 gel caps are more effective than the capsules. This has been my experience. This may not be the case for other people, but it's one of the main reasons that I was excited to try this Dr. Foster CoQ10.I like this formulation, and I like that the serving size is one gel cap. Besides 200mg of CoQ10, this supplement has 45mg of Vitamin E per serving. It also has phytosterols, PQQ and black pepper extract. One of the things I really like is that the gel caps have MCT from coconut oil and also organic olive oil. I think having these high quality fats with the CoQ10 is probably why gel caps may be more effective than powder in capsules. I also like that they're non-GMO, gluten free, soy free and third party tested. All of this adds up to a quality supplement at a good price. Assuming you take one gel cap per day, you're getting a three month supply for $20.99. That's the listed price at the time of my writing this review. It's certainly a reasonable price for what you're getting. I'm looking forward to taking these. I'm not sure why the label on the bottle pictured in the listing says 119 soft gels. The label on the bottle that I received does indeed say 120 soft gels. I'll update the review down the line if there's anything interesting to report.

Seems to be a good option for adding the CoQ10 enzyme to one's diet
The CoQ10 enzyme is a natural enzyme produced by our bodies and is essential in overall metabolism as it generates energy in our cells. I have been taking CoQ10 for over four years now and I prefer the liquid for easy and fast absorption. But for travel I rely on softgels. When choosing any vitamin or supplement I look for the following:1. the amount of the main ingredients2. the presence of any undesirable ingredients3. the expiration date4. the manufacturer and source of the ingredients1. In the case of these softgels from Dr. Foster, there should be 200 mg of CoQ10 (the full name is Ubiquinol) in each capsule. Normally the body produces its own ubiquinol but as we age the amount decreases and supplements are desirable. I typically take a 100 mg dose but I like that each dose is twice that in this formula. Other ingredients are smaller amounts of Vitamin E, phytosterols (which are plant sterols, a good adjunct for health), and PQQ (Pyroloquinoline Quinone), with which I am not accustomed. The formula includes black pepper extract which is helpful for absorption of many vitamins and supplements.2. I did not see any undesirable ingredients listed on the label, though I would be happy simply with the CoQ10. The gel capsules also seem good, comprised of MCTs and olive oil and no animal products.3. The expiration date on the bottle I received 12/2027, by which time I will have finished the 120 capsules. One odd thing: the Amazon product page states the bottle has 119 softgels, but the label says 120, enough for about 4 months.4. The label states that the Dr. Foster brand is the distributor of the capsules, but no manufacturer is named, nor is there any indication of where the ingredients are sourced or blended. This can sometimes be a dealbreaker for me as I prefer to by my health products from the manufacturer, especially one based in the U.S. Overall I am satisfied with this product, particularly the amount of CoQ10 and the number of softgels as well as the price.

Adequate dose of Ubiquinol form of Coenzyme Q10 that supports heart and brain health
I’ve been taking Coenzyme Q10 for many years after my cardiologist suggested I take this supplement in conjunction with my statin medication to support heart health as well as minimize the side effects of statins. CoQ10 is supposed to be found naturally in human heart and muscles and many other parts of the body such as kidneys and liver, necessary for normal healthy cellular functions from energy production, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammary processes and immune protection.Ubiquinol is the better form of CoQ10 as opposed to the more common cheaper form Ubiquinone. The former is better because it is highly absorbable in the gut and it is in the bioactive form that requires no biochemical conversion. It also contains Vitamin E and Black Pepper extract which provides added help in good absorption as well as enhanced anti-oxidant anti-inflammatory effect. One serving is 1 softgel of good 200mg of CoQ10. The bottle contains 120 which will provide for 4 months supply. Each softgel is smooth medium size and easy to swallow without taste or odor. Instruction suggests keeping in cool dry place to avoid clumping. Expiration date is December 2027.

Excellent source of CoQ10
Okay, doctor's orders were that I should take CoQ10 for my heart health. These were perfect and fit the bill. I only have to take one pill a day, because it delivers a full 200mg serving. So no morning and night issues, and the bottle will last me 120 days! Quite a deal for the price ($17.99 on date of the review). The manufacturer is a trusted brand, too. Very important when so many supplements are of questionable authenticity.
