We went through a full heat cycle with ‘Delay Her Spay’ with both male and female in house and no puppies! Female got used to wearing her Chasity system, male still tried to do his business but to no avail. A necessity for breeders!Success is dependent upon correctly fitting system to your female and monitoring. I suggest doing this prior to her heat cycle. Fit it loose enough so she can lay down, run and defecate yet tight enough males will not be able to slip his way underneath the meshed area. She should be safe for short periods without monitoring, but you still need to keep an eye on your female in heat and daily check that the system has not loosened from movement. The strap ends fit back into the buckles to keep them in place.We have the small size for our 19 lb. lhasa Apso – fits perfectly with her small waist but her chest and neck are thick, so collar was snug – I cut off existing collar and inserted a collar from the pet store. A medium may have worked better for us. I appreciate the thought that went into the design for adjustability and effectiveness.I strongly suggest going to DelayHerSpay.com and purchasing just the back part with the mesh panel that so importantly protects the female from impregnation, while allowing her to eliminate. It is important to keep one on her while hand cleaning this part every few days to keep everything smelling fresh.Wash by hand and hang dry – do not put in washer or dryer – I put mine in dryer after hand washing and it cracked one of the plastic buckles.Customer Service is the owner and creator of the system. He is knowledgeable, responsive and ready to help with problems. Carefully read documentation that comes with the system, it has tips for chewers.

$70 for an anti breeding harness that is Way too Small for my 28lb female. NO RETURNS! Seriously! Now what do I do with it...

Dog got pregnant

I have a 70+ lb belgian malinois and the straps don't stay tight. Getting it to fit properly and cover her private area is a challenge. Hopefully this prevents her from getting pregnant. Will update if it does or doesn't.

Currently I have four dogs two girls and two males and this has been a great deterrent for them. My girl is free to do her business with out me having to baby site her it's been a win-win for me and my family. And I'm so glad for this product it's been so nice to put it on my girl and not have to change a dog dipper ever few hours and the company has been great I some how lost a strap adjuster and they were great about helping me out with this. I would recommend this to my family and friends. The people at the company are so great and very friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and helpful information about dogs being in heat.

At first I was hesitant about trying the Pabs system- it was expensive and complex. For our GSD’s first few heat cycles we tried washable diapers lined with sanitary pads, we tried multiple brands but none fit her comfortablely- our GSD would tear them off because they were uncomfortable. She would have to wear a cone, and the poor girl was so confused by the whole situation she would poop in the diaper inside the house- it was awful for her and ourselves.Do yourself the favor and invest in a Pabs system- overall its more economical and sustainable! My GSD is so comfortable in it that she doesn’t try to remove it! She doesn’t even have to wear the inflatable cone! No more problems with her pooping in the house, and she can play with her friends instead of having to be cooped up for a month twice a year!We are so pleased with the Pabs system and the whole team behind it! Their customer service is incredible- Dexter helped me out big time!My only other advice is to order from their website- Amazon is a bit wonky.

You can't leave it on unless you're going to be there to watch the dog. It's useless if you need it for a livestock Guardian dog.I really wanted this to work. $70 for a chew toy is a little too much.

We put it on an American Bully. It fits good and it works. It takes me a couple trys to get it on correctly but once you figure out how it fits your dog then it isn't so bad. I would much rather use this than have the alternative. And you can use it over and over. It has already paid for itself.

Relatively easy to put on my dogs. A stupid high duty to pay because it was a "specialty" item. I was under the impression that if you can't find it in Canada then no duty. Apparently I was incorrect. Can hardly wait for my bitch to come in to heat to try it out.
