This has been a lifesaver for us. My toddler suffers from night terrors, but thankfully after lots of tips and tricks from other NT victim’s parents, lots of trial and error (and even more sleepless nights), and LOADS of worry, I’ve discovered that a cold room (along with other factors) SIGNIFICANTLY reduces his episodes. With summer coming on like a hot hurricane, I’m able to keep his room cool without having to run the a/c for the entire house, thereby greatly reducing my electric bill. It’s quiet enough that he can sleep peacefully through it, and the “lock” feature ensures he won’t change the setting on me, because, ya know, buttons are fun for little boys!! So thankful to have found this economic solution!

The video shows the window assembly is possible to make very short. In reality it doesn’t fit most windows. Be sure to measure and check before buying this item.I’ve included pictures of what they show you get vs. what is actually included. Also showing how it would be if you could actually make it the size they show in the video, the entire exhaust would be blocked, don’t worry though because it won’t fit how they show. Do not recommend this product at all. Zero stars if possible

The a/c unit works well and was easy to set up, but the exhaust hose is awfully stiff. It would be easier to use and move if the hose was more like the "softer" dryer vent hoses. Other than that, I am happy with this unit so far. The unit's remote works well, it easy to understand and when the a/c unit runs, it cools really well!

Since I just got it I won’t be able to say anything on the energy efficiency side. It fits perfectly in a little space by my bed. My husband says it’s super easy to assemble. The remote control is easy to use. Instantly made the room much more comfortable. I’m glad we ordered it!

Blows cool air, and is overall easy to use. When I received the item today all the little nuts and washers you see in the images were completely loose and flying around on the inside. I had to open up the unit and remove them seeing as there’s exposed electronics I didn’t want shorting out due to this issue. I couldn’t reach the areas they came from unfortunately to put them back. This could be due to rough shipping or just a poorly built unit. If you are not comfortable with prying open plastic pieces, (it’s quite difficult) you better hope your unit doesn’t come like this. Otherwise it’s working fine.

Have only had the unit for 20 days and it has already begun leaking out of the bottom and front. Drainage hose placed into a proper exit hole and draining into a bucket. That is not where the excess water leaks from. We have to physically pick the unit up, move it to the shower, and tilt it in each direction to get all of the water out after running the system.

Needed some cool air so I can work in my garage. This thing works great, It even has a remote and sleep mode.
