Solid Portable AC – Totally Worth It
I just got this portable AC (model PAC-A016B-07KR), and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver during this heat wave. It cools my room (about 500 sq ft) super fast and keeps it comfortable even in the afternoon when the sun hits hard. It’s got a few modes — cooling, fan, and dehumidifier — and all of them actually work well. I mostly use the cooling mode, but the fan is nice when it’s not too hot. It’s not too loud either, which is great when I’m trying to sleep or watch TV.Setup was super easy — just plug it in, connect the exhaust hose, and you’re good to go. It’s on wheels so I can roll it to different rooms if I need to. Also really like that the temp range goes from 61–88°F, so you can tweak it however you want.Overall, I’m really happy with it. Gets the job done and makes hot days so much more bearable.

Efficient Cooling for Medium Spaces – Quiet and Convenient
I’ve been using this 8500 BTU portable air conditioner in my home office (around 400 sq. ft.), and it’s been doing a great job keeping the room cool and comfortable, even on hotter days. The 3-in-1 functionality is a big plus — the fan and dehumidifier modes are both useful, especially during humid afternoons.Installation was straightforward with the included kit, and I had it up and running in under 30 minutes. The remote control is handy for adjusting settings from across the room, and the sleep mode is a nice touch — it’s quiet enough to not disturb work or sleep. It might take a little longer to cool larger areas, but for rooms, studios, or small apartments, it’s very effective. Overall, a solid portable AC that offers good performance, easy use, and nice features for the price.

Easy setup, no more hot summer nights!
Our house has a lot of rooms that frankly, don’t need to be cooled down since we aren’t using them. We looked into options as to whether getting a portable AC unit for our room would be economical, and we found this one. Delivery was faster than expected, and it came in great condition. Set up is very easy and straight forward as it comes with simple directions. We were able to get it up and running fairly quick. It is also easy to power on and use - and boy, does it cool. Living in the south, summer nights can become uncomfortable and the humidity is not fun. However, this has solved all our problems and has an array of temperature you can keep it at. The cooling functionality works quick, and it’s also relatively quiet. It’s also small that it doesn’t take up a lot of room. I definitely recommend this to others as an option to make a bedroom or study cold.

Great Product!
Over the past years, we have used a bulky and heavy window unit to cool our living room. We opted for this unit in hopes that it would make it quicker and easier to use in home. The swivel wheels make it so easy to transport the unit from one room to another. It cools the space quickly and keeps it comfortable without running too loud, much quieter than the window units I’ve used in the past. Installation was quite simple. Step by step instructions were provided and easy to follow. We have used it off and on in the past month and so far, I have been happy with its performance. Unit has given us a great way of getting cool without hassle.

Not very quiet, couple of minor design improvements they could make; works fine.
It sucks in warm air and spits water out the back, and cool air out the front. That's its primary job, and it does it fine. The remote is clunky and is easily the thickest remote I own. Not sure why it needed to be this bulky, but, whatever. At least AAAs are cheaper than button batteries.Speaking of buttons, there's a button on the remote that doesn't even have a label. I don't mean to be critical, but how did this pass design review?Additionally, here's how I would improve the product:They should have designed the window shield with a punch-out hole for you to stick the drain tube out the window. I'd much rather drip the water onto my lawn, than into a bucket I have to continually empty. I will probably drill my own hole and just caulk around it, but it would be better to have a factory punchout with a gasket included for this purpose. It's a little loud if you're trying to listen to a TV show or a conference call in the same room, but, so are all ACs, and this one is designed for small spaces, so of course it's going to seem loud.Overall, in its first season of use, this unit has met my expectations so far.

Instructions aren't very detailed.
Need to be a little creative to set this up. The instructions are pretty vague. Good thing I don't need them. Seems to cool fine and controls are easy to figure out. Thank goodness as there is not a lot of help for that. A big negative is the drain hose is too small to fit over the outlet. Very cheep hose. I had to buy one that fit and itworks great. Nice looking unit.

False Noise Description
The product description is wrong/flase/lying. It states it can be set to sleep mode and this will produce 52 db of noise. The unit is quite loud so I checked with my Apple Watch, it is reporting 62 db on sleep mode with the fan on low. I rolled the unit onto carpet to help as it was even louder on my hardwood floor. While the unit cooling does work, there are no water leaks, it is portable and light enough, the noise is a problem. I am contemplating trying to return the device but expect it will be hard. 52 is quiet, 62 is something you have to raise your voice to have a conversation near. I cannot speak the durability. Also, the window insert & hose they sent me is a medium gray that does not match the white unit. Also, while not the end of the world, you will need to supply your own weather stripping for the insert as it is shaped in such a way it does not fit the window well. Make sure it is thick stuff as mine had over 1/2” gaps between the window and the insert. Even best case scenario the insert would have about a 1/8” gaps between due to the nested design of the extension portion.
