Beautiful colors and hardy plants.
These seeds are easy to plant and they grow really well. I had all of the colors come up last year in various spots in my yard and the mixture of colors is really beautiful. I like to geminate them inside first to start and that helps for faster planting and growth. They like warm weather.

Get the Red
I planted these in several places in the yard and the results were spectacular. The Red ones are almost an infrared in the throats and just impossible to photograph. The germination rate was fantastic. They are happiest in Full Sun and grow to be about 2.5' tall. They are very bushy and produced tons of flowers up until the snow fell.I've also grown the pink ones. They are more of a purple than the ones labeled Red.

my photo does not do these flowers justice
This is an old fashioned flower that is not seen much anymore. I remembered my grandmother talking about them so I looked for them 2 years ago in garden centers, etc. and could not find them. So last year in 2018 I ordered the seeds, soaked them in water as instructed on the packet and planted them. I planted them in various places around the yard and then still had so many seeds left I planted the rest in a "garden" area that I had abandoned for the year. The ones I planted and cared for properly came up beautifully thick and colorful - next time I need to not plant them so closet together, but the ones that really surprised me were the ones that I totally neglected - if it rained they got watered otherwise, not. I was amazed when I looked at this abandoned spot in the later part of the summer and (althoush slow in their initial growth) they were as beautiful and big as the others I had diligently watered and cared for. I've ordered the seeds again this year and plan on planting these seeds in all sorts of neglected areas. Note: They do need sun! This very smart flower knows it needs to open at 4pm in order to keep it's interesting name!

KNOW your seed !
These flowers generate their own seed through the blooms. You can harvest them for replanting or let them germinate naturally year after year.I received mine on April 2, soaked them briefly before planting a handful the next day. The weather was perfect with adequate rain. NOTHING. So I soak some more for a longer time and planted. NOTHING. I reached out to the seller and received a quick response, but wasn't satisfied with "like the package reads."I took the seeds that were soaked in water for 4 days, placed them on a paper towel, and with a spoon I gently cracked them. Some of the seeds were replanted in the same areas where no germination, and some I kept in the napkin to see if they would germinate. To my liking they did. I easily transplanted them into lightly raked soil. I am still germinating more using a damp napkin.I will update with blooming flowers hopefully in the fall. The package doesn't have any of the information I shared, FYI.

Loved (updates )
This plant is a memory of my childhood and my sister who passed away. I got a good amount of seeds, y planted on my new place and give some to my friends. The seeds are growing, they grow like in a week after I planted, I’ll review again this product when the flowers start coming up. My husband told me to planted down the road where we live so am buying more. May 6, 23. To present may18,23It’s July 15,23: I transplanted to different place, they we’re growing but now it’s to hot that they are trying to survive. However the first flowers are present. Yellow and red and hopefully more colors coming soon.

Great Flowers
I love them. I bought others in different colors too. They grow easily. The only problem is that they really bloom for a short time, late afternoon, early evening, then they are gone.

BEST 4 o’clock SEEDS EVER!
Ive bought 4 o’clock seeds from other brands over the years & found that very few germinated. I guess I over planted these based on my previous experience with other suppliers…so I now have 4 o’clocks popping up everywhere!! They are beautiful! We kids planted these when we were wee high gardeners & I recall them so fondly. Since these were so successful I went back & ordered the multi-colored seeds as well.
