These melted very well but tasted a little like fake chocolate

Growing up, my mother ran a candy and bake shop. She only used Merckens Chocolate. I have tried many brands in the last 40 years, and I alwas come back to Merckens. It is great for chocolate molds and chocolate candy making. It is the best for melting and comes right out of my molds.

Have been using Merckens for 35 years and would not change. You can spend more for dipping chocolate but why. The milk chocolate as well as the dark chocolate are easy to use. Suggestion: buy what you need and reorder when you need more. I have found if I don't use it within, say a year, they melting factor changes.

Very disappointed. Chocolate is thick and appears old. Should melt for easy use. No way it will squeeze out of a bottle. Will not order from this distributor again!
