Tillamook Country Smoker Real Hardwood Smoked Silver Dollar Jerky, Teriyaki, 13 Ounce

Delicious jerky like the ones I use to buy back in the day.

This is some of the tastiest jerky. I’ve loved this stuff since I was a kid, and I swear if I didn’t have self restraint I could finish a whole container of it in one or two sittings.

I don't leave many reviews, but I'm writing this one in the hopes that someone from Tillamook Country Smoker will actually read this. These used to be my favorite silver dollar style beef jerky product (Teriyaki flavor). I remember when these were at the gas station in my home town...4 for $1. The ones I recently received were nothing like the ones I've had in the past, and the not so distant past as well I might add. The can was only half full (waste of plastic), the silver dollars are much smaller than they used to be, and they now taste overly greasy and nasty! I do not recommend the new version of this product. It is straight up garbage! Tillamook, stop being so cheap and fix this or I will never buy your products again. The USA is in a truly sad state of affairs.

Great item

I previously bought these in the store and loved them. They were fresh, tender and just the right size for a snack. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the two containers I ordered on Amazon. The jerky was not as fresh, quite hard and the taste was not as robust. I will only buy from the store.

Bought these to keep by my recliner in the family room. I love to grab a few while I'm watching a game or a movie... Nice to have because it saves me running back and forth to the kitchen for snacks. These are wafers of jerky, about the size of a fifty-cent piece. I got the Teriyaki, which has a good flavor. The jerky is a bit tougher and drier than other premium brands, but not overly so. With a beverage, it's a good snack, though I avoid eating too many at a time. I've shared these with my dogs and they love them, too. I felt OK doing so, since they aren't too salty and the teriyaki flavor isn't overwhelming. I'm much more popular with them now! All-in-all, the price was decent, the size of the container was worth it, the quality is perfect for a quick snack. Perfect for what I was looking for!

OMG… I go through these things like mad, they are so good

I bought these a bit ago and they were always a splurge. I ordered them again this week (Nov 2023). It is laughable how tiny these things are now. They don't even fill up 1/3 of the plastic jar they come in anymore. The size of my "silver dollar" sized beef jerkies are about an inch across. People in the reviews keep blaming the size of the packaging as their reason for giving the score. It's not the size of the packaging but the lack of product in what used to be the normal packaging. Tillamook is obviously going through shrinkflation with this product. If they update the packaging it would still be a subpar jerky at a very high price point. The jerky itself is weird. It doesn't taste like much even though it smells strongly like jerky/spices. It falls apart as you eat it and crumbles weirdly. (Probably because instead of being actual beef jerky - it is pressed together like a ground beef patty?) In the end it tastes like a cardboard wafer. Sad Tillamook. Who bought you out and started going after your quality control and dignity?
