My fry daddy spatula went bad so I ordered this one it works amazingly even better than the fry daddy spatula it's easy to clean and the size of the scoop allows you to fry bigger quantities and grab bigger items out definitely worth the money if you use a fryer and it's very sturdy

I ordered this set of 3 strainers for kitchen use, however I really only need the spider for pasta draining. It has replaced our very old & spiky spider and we are very glad to have this shiny and sturdy new one. I haven't used the ladle or flat fats strainers yet. As the title says, but warning: because I've seen other reviews on this and similar items, these aren't supposed to be used to mash or smash things. They're meant to lift things out of liquid while leaving more liquid behind. So, if you're looking for an answer to that, you're the issue, not the item.

I use the black plastic slotted spoon all the time, because it won’t scratch up my pots. I appreciate the little ledge for resting the spoon on the black one as well. The drain holes are good size, easy to clean, food doesn’t get stuck or spill, yet it drains well. Perogies, pasta, pretzels, I use this spoon for everything. The metal one is much heavier by far, and I haven’t gotten much use out of it at all. I would have probably been fine had I just ordered the individual black spoon but if I was doing larger batch cooking or serving more people I would probably use the metal one too. It’s a nice good quality slotted spoon though.
