Much better than a cheaper set I got
VERY NICE! I got a really inexpensive set that wasn't as durable feeling as this set feels. I love the material and even though as a 5'4" middle-aged female, I'm going to be able to make this work (size Large - only one available at time of purchase.) Will be putting this to the test this weekend when I visit my first in-field beekeeping area.

Entry level suit - probably best suited for an assistant or visitor to an apiary
This review is for the "Large" size bee suit. Our hives died over the winter, so haven't tested this with live bees yet. This suit is for a woman 5' 3, and fits well. It is quite spacious, so the weight of the person shouldn't be an issue. It is definitely not well suited to someone much taller. The fabric is much thinner than other suits I've used, so I'd be a bit concerned about how well it prevents stings through it, but the bagginess of the suit should help with that. The extra layer of protection around the neck seems adequate, and the extra velcro flap at the zipper closure is effective. The zippers work fine, and should stand up to occasional use. The stitching is OK. There are lots of extra threads still attached in spots, and some loose threads in the package. All seems were intact, though and stood up to all the movement we put it through. There are two chest pockets and one rear pocket. None of the pockets are deep. It would be nice to have one deeper pocket for hive tools, etc.The veil hood is spacious enough to wear a hat and get plenty of spacing away from your head.In all, this is a serviceable entry-level suit. For our small apiary, it will be for an assistant to wear for occasional help with inspections or other duties. It would not stand up to heavy daily use. But if it's treated like a tyvek suit, it should last quite a while with the level of use we're expecting.

Low cost good protection
The suit fits good, provides full body protection and the gloves provide good finger movement. The suit size was correct but the glove fingers are a little on the small size but will work just fine. The material is thin and light so it's good for a hot day of hive maintenance and for the price you can't beat it.

Works well
Light weight and durable. Fits as expected. I would order normal size you wear to one size up at most. The zippers are strong.. the gloves are well made abs thick so you won’t get stung through them. The good worms well to protect you all the way around. Works great for a beekeeper!

Definitely inexpensive, fits ok, light material
I'll be testing this out on Friday when our nuc arrives.I wanted to try a suit with the arched hood vs. the brim hood that I have now.The fabric is very thin, but it's very blousey, so that should help to keep the fabric from being right on the skin.I wish it were white which is the best color for a bee suit.I like the jumpsuit aspect. I'm 5'7" and it fits me well in the upper section; I would not have called this a large - tho' it's plenty big around the middle. The gloves are a very nice quality leather, but the gloves are very small. I have small hands and even these just barely fit. So sizing could be a concern for anyone ordering this suit.In terms of effectiveness for the price, it works.

Excellent Bee Suit
Spring is almost here and the bees will be humming soon. I Love fresh honey. My old suit was starting to get thread bare. This new suit is perfect for bee keepers. Great fit. Comfortable, breathable fabric. Great value.
