It sounds great! I just needed one to replace my blown front unit in my 2012 tundra.....but adter putting it in i might need to replace the other side. Great value for money, looks good, sounds great. I just installed so not sure about durablility yet, but I always have great experience with pioneer. Depending on your setup you might need, brackets, wiring harness and definitely some foam for sound deadening. Great product

For the price I am very impressed the quality, clarity, and depth of these speakers are very good. Heck, I only replaced the two front door speakers and I notice a huge difference. I’m no audiophile, but I recognize a big difference from the OEM front door speakers they replaced (2005 4Runner)

These speakers are exactly the same dimensions as the ones on the Civic. No modifications needed, just used some fabric electrical tape around the bottom side edges to reduce friction related noises. Also needed speaker connector pigtail adapter to hook up to the factory harness. The factory speakers rotted and was making a fluttering noise when bass is too high. The Pioneer is more clear and clean. Problem is that when volume is low, power straight out of the deck isn’t enough to make the speakers sound consistently clear across all volume ranges. The solution is to raise the volume or get a small amp. It’s kind of a shame, since the speakers don’t require so much minimum watt. It lacks a little bass. Over all this is a really deal and better quality and purchase, just need a little more power.

I installed these in my Buick Century! Great bass and clear treble. These speakers are a tremendous value!

Ok if you just need speakers. I also had a factory amp supplying this. Speakers can't get loud and if you do it gets muddy and poppy. Keep in mind it's JBL amped too. Stock speakers are better. If you just want speakers, just get something oem ish that doesn't need anything else. Perhaps stock or powerbass. Even it that it's just to have something ok.

Considerably better than the OEM door speakers in my '03 RAM. Good value for the $$

They sound good, a little more treble than expected but thats largely due to the tweeters built in, just tune the deck accordingly.

I installed these in my 2018. Dodge Ram in replacement of the factory speakers, they're very clear and a good product.
