Q: Can these be painted?

Yes, you can paint the speakers. Use a dry brush technique on the grilles (very little paint on the brush) in order to keep from clogging holes.

We recommend spacing speakers every 16 to 24 feet, depending on ceiling height. The higher the ceilings, the fewer speakers needed for even coverage. If you ceilings are around 10 feet, you would probably need around 18-20 speakers in a rectangular room. We can put a custom system together- please send your room dimensions and ceiling height.
