I was originally disappointed with the Luba 2 and I was real concerned with some of the reviews of their customer service. I believe that all of my concerns have been put to rest. I had some real concerns over battery life and the unit constantly disconnecting from the GPS. I was able to solve all the disconnection issues with location changes and with their customer service. They were very responsive either by chat or by email. My concern with the battery was also addressed by their customer service. Luke was very responsive and worked to solve the problem. Eventually, it was decided that the wrong unit may have been sent and it was dealt with immediately (although there was a little confusion on return and replacement, the CS has been great to deal with).Programming of the unit is where you will be able to head off any problems. Although I think that the manual could do a better job at helping the user program, I was able to play with the features and was able to test some different map programming. Understanding the unit's limitations in small compact areas with a lot of obstacles will help in avoiding some frustration. I still have some tweaking to do but I think with work, it will be perfect.The features of the unit are extremely impressive. It mows straight lines (if desired) and will give that coveted stripped lawn look. The unit traverses difficult terrain without any problems. I am really glad that I worked through the difficulty of tweaking the setup. You can quickly set up the unit and it will do a decent job but if you put a little thought into the setup, I believe you will be impressed. I look forward to future enhancements like lawn writing that are said to be upcoming.I will caution that the battery life, even on my new unit, is a little misleading in their cut sheets. It claims to be able to mow for 3 hours. It also claims that it can mow .15 acres per hour. Although I am now getting about 2 1/2 hours of battery life, it can not conserve battery and mow the .15 acre/hour. The claims are based on a perfect condition and it probably will not be reached in a yard with any slope, obstacles, or any length on the grass being mowed. With this being said, if you cut your yard into manageable sections or are willing to understand that the unit will return to its charging base, the final outcome is awesome!The bottom line is that the unit and its features are outstanding and the company has been very responsive and seems to be continually looking for improvements for new and EXISTING units. If you have any techie ability, the difficulties can easily be worked through with the customer service.

We chose this brand and model because of other reviews and videos on YouTube, specifically this model, since it can cut grass up to 4 inches high and can handle our hillside.Thus far, this mower has exceeded our expectations regarding mowing quality, ease of use, and function. The programming of the yard was the hardest task, and this was easily accomplished and many of the common problems are already documented on their website. In reviewing the specs for each model of mower, we chose the one capable of cutting taller grass up to 3.9 inches and sized for our lot. It is set for 3 inches, and the cut is uniform and level. The two cutting disks do, at times, need to be cleaned out due to grass cuttings that may clump up on the underside. This is nothing that occurs frequently and is similar to our old gas engine mower deck. Also, Luba can not cut wet grass very well. Again, it is no different from our gas-powered mower. The mower is very quiet, and while it could run at night, we prefer to limit the operation to during the daytime. The mower will cut leaves and small twigs but not branches. When it gets stuck, it will shut down and notify you for rescue. You must rescue Luba from wherever they got stuck and allow Luba to continue from the breakpoint. The mower will return on its own when necessary for charging and pick up where it left off. The FPV or First Person Viewer allows you to view the mower as it moves through the yard while cutting grass - Awesome tool to assess issues when it gets stuck.Now, some drawbacks:-No-go zones must be set up. This is easy, but it may take you a few times to set up if you need to leave sufficient space or want to edit to get closer to the area's border.Price. Well, for us, it was cheaper than riding or zero-turn, but we got cool points from fellow neighbors.-It may chew up grass in front of the docking station as it spins to line up. It may also chew the grass around no-go zones if it is set on zero-spin rather than multi-point turns.I hope this helps.
