for BEGINNERS and BRIGHT SOUND
I bought two of these for my studentswho are just starting out.It is a thinner(lighter gauge) which helps my studentsto easily press down the notes of chords and scales thatthey practice which has made it easier for them to practice.I also recommend this to anyone who is looking for a bright tone.

Disappointed
I bought these thinking the lower gauge will help in easier fretting but the strings go out of tune very fast and the bass response is very poor for my dreadnought sized guitar... I don't know about small sized guitars but if you use a dreadnought sized guitar, I recommend you go for the next gauge range (eg. Daddario EJ10)...
