i had low expectations of this product since my 14-year-old male ginger cat didn't have a UTI, but a blocked urethra so that even though his bladder was full, he was unable to use the litter box. instead, drops of urine escaped, and he was constantly licking to catch it. i took him to the emergency vet and they recommended that a catheter be inserted together with a hospital stay of 3-4 days costing 5-8 thousand dollars. furthermore, they said this might well need to be repeated in the future. there was a cheaper option which i chose, to drain the bladder with a needle and syringe. it was called a hail mary procedure because it wasn't expected to cure the problem, and it didn't. so after several days i returned to the ER expecting them to recommend euthanasia. instead, a vet manually emptied the bladder and noted the urine stream seemed pretty good while he did it. they sent me home thinking this would solve the problem, but it didn't. kitty seemed close to successful peeing, but for some reason he was not quite there. A few days went by, and I was again worried about euthanasia, so i began to search if there was any medicine that might help, and i saw this product, which amazon delivered same day. i followed the advice for an acute problem and gave him five drops (which is one dose) in a small amount of food every 15 minutes--the box says up to 6 doses, but i gave him 3 or 4 in the late afternoon before he was no longer hungry and then gave him two more a couple of hours later. in the morning, there was a healthy lump of pee in the litter box. it was like a miracle! it's been three days, and he seems pretty normal, producing a big lump of pee each night and resting peacefully without having to lick his privates incessantly all night long. of all the meds i've ever given a cat, this is the easiest to use and the least objectionable. it doesn't seem to have a negative flavor -- no need to shove pills down. it's a marvelous product. i just wish i knew what exactly it did, e.g., reduce inflammation, fight infection, dissolve crystals (which an ultrasound showed my cat had). highly recommended, even with a blocked cat problem.

This worked by the end of the day. I got home from work yesterday and my cat ran up to me and then acted like he was trying to go to the bathroom. He just stood there squatting like he was trying to poop. He's an older kitty and knows where his litter box is so I wasn't sure what was going on. Throughout the morning, he kept doing this behavior in different places throughout the house. Upon closer inspection I realized he was trying to pee but only a drop would come out. My daughter then told me it was probably a UTI or urinary tract blockage (her cat had this happen and the vet told her it was URGENT to get care as a cat can die within 24-48 hours if stuff gets backed up into their kidneys. With male cats UTI's can be a lot more serious). After reading the reviews, I thought I'd give this a try. I ordered it same day and it arrived within the first 3 hours. He's very picky about eating so I put 5 drops of this on his favorite kitty snack (Temptations) and dolled it out to him a few nuggets at a time, crushed up so he'd have to lick the bowl - and medicine drops - clean. I did this every 15 minutes for a total of 4 or 5 times per the instructions for urgent problems. I kept an eye on him and by the end of the day I noticed that he had two fresh clumps of peed-on litter in his box. Today is the next day and he is back to acting/peeing normally. I'm still putting 5 drops on his food when I feed him - twice a day - just to be sure - and I changed his food to a urinary health formula (Farmina N&D, Quinoa Urinary Duck Formula Adult Dry Cat Food) expensive as heck but he's my baby. It's really hard to get him to eat anything besides kitty crack (Temptations kitty treats, which is probably what gave him the UTI to begin with) but he likes the Farmina N&D. I don't know how this stuff works so fast but I am greatly relieved to be able to avoid what I'm afraid would have been a massive vet bill for emergency care.

So far so good. It appears to be working. It was also delivered on time!

My cat had strained to pee before, and I tried another supplement on her for UTI and it worked. However, because it was a human supplement, I decided not to take that chance of overdosing my cat and just use one actually designed for felines. This one worked in 18 hours! She was peeing pea-sized balls in her litter before, and was little lethargic. I administered a very small dose of the supplement I was using before, then ordered this product, did 5 doses yesterday from 4pm to 10pm as instructed for acute cases and gave her broth + her usual wet food topped with water. At 6am today, I massaged her belly and plopped her twice in her little box. She peed a big golf ball size of regular pee the 2nd time she was in the box and tottered off. Now she's carrying her favorite toy around and chirping at me. YAY! I'm putting together a long term maintenance plan of both my cats' urinary systems so we can avoid an expensive trip to the vet for as long as possible.

This saved me a trip to the vet and tons of money! My cat was peeing blood and was spraying all over the house. Within 2 days of taking this, that stopped. So glad I tried this out!

The product seems to be working. It seems to alleviate her symptoms, But the symptoms came back and I finally took her to a vet.

HomeoPet has great products. The Vet visit cost me close to $600 to diagnose and treat with an antibiotic that was impossible to dispense, she hid under the bed, I remembered HomeoPet. My female cat had frequent urination issues that had a very strong ammonia odor. After just a couple days using this product her urine production and frequency was back to normal. Highly recommend HomeoPet. The Dewormer works great too. Used it on all six of my cats last year. Everyone’s issues were cured in a week, nothing since. Just place in the wet food, they won’t even notice. Vets are necessary but not with these ailments.

It's been about 28 hours since I've started my 2.5 year old female cat on this medication. Her symptoms were straining to pee, returning to the box every ten minutes with nothing coming out, wetness on her bottom, swollen. She is also not fixed. I was extremely worried and had a back up plan if this didn't work to take her to the vet but she is returning to normal so very quickly. I think the meds may have some side affects or I may have dosed too high I'm not sure. I did max dose for her weight twice in thirty mins according to the package for acute cases. After this she stopped eating and started resting throughout the night and finally started peeing again after about five hours. I did one more dose this morning and she did vomit so I'm going to stop dosing. She started eating and peeing normally now at 28 hours. I am very pleased so far. Will update if things change. Thank you for saving her life. Will be making some lifestyle changes for her and her diet. Will definitely be keeping this stuff on hand.
