Great car for kids to learn and sharpen their driving skills. I had some concerns with the vehicle but customer service was able to resolve everything for me without and problems. Great customer service experience!

A few of the instructions and pictures for assembly were not real clear, but eventually got it together. Granddaughter, 9 years old, loves it.

9 year old loved it! It drives at a decent speed. The battery life lasts about 30 minutes. He had so much fun driving it aroud the driveway! Has stood up to multiple drives and stops with minor bumps on the driveway. Has taken it on the pavement road and had a blast. Was easy to learn the pedals and plug in. Dont necessarily need to turn the plug to charge, it can be plugged in and charges just fine without fully turning the plug to tighten.

The box came open. It states speeds are 7.5 mph, but this is not true. We compared it to an exact go cart we have with the same speeds, and it didn't even do half and this was on a full charge. I do not care for deceptive product info. If it was not meant to go 7.5 mph, it should be stated as such. This will not be useful for my son. The lights do work. The front cover kept coming off. It has to be adjusted when extending or it pops off. It is also pretty hard to extend, maybe because it's new. This has not been used since putting it together and trying it out the first time, as it just does not go fast enough to be enjoyable to do any kind of turns.

This is a superb toy — but it has some limitations. First, it really only fits someone in the 1st-2nd grade range. Anyone older is getting tight with the knees, and too much weight for the motor. That said, a skinny adult could fit, but it's not fun. Battery lasts a really long time. The second overall limitation is that once the initial buzz factor wears off, this can get really boring unless you are continually creating new courses (e.g. with orange cones) for your child.

Got this for our twelve year old and he is having such a blast with it. Very well engineered and for the parts you do have to put together, it's not very hard. My husband loved that this is a McLaren and I know he wants to ride it so bad! However, it truly is for a child and not an adult. If you have a bigger child, please know that this may be uncomfortable for them or just may not fit them overall. My kids love riding this out in the backyard. And sometimes we will go to the park so that they can play around with it. It is rather large and bulky, so you need to make sure that you have room for it in your car If you plan on taking this out with you. Really fun for kids, though, and I would highly suggest it if you have the means to buy it and the room for it in your house or backyard.

Assembly was way easier than I expected--took less than 30 minutes. My kid was riding it that same afternoon. Steering is smooth and responsive, which makes it super fun for him to drive. The tires handle pavement and grass like a champ. Solid build--doesn't feel flimsy at all. We love it!
