Loose fit
This cap didn't fit my dune buggy very well; When closed, it could still slide from slide to side and did not compress the gasket tightly. I salvaged the rubber gasket from it and put the gasket into my original VW gas cap, and the gasket fit perfectly.

A little tight but if fit on my 1971 type 3 beetle

Poor quality part.
Cap itself is ok. The rubber gasket is low quality and not the correct rubber for gas. Only on for a short time and gasket is getting mushy so will not last long.
