I normally don't like water flavoring packets, but I desperately needed to increase my water intake and I simply cannot just drink straight water. I've tried waterboy, liquid IV, and a few other hydration packet brands. Still couldn't seem to make me want to drink more water. I found these, which contain zero sugar and NO SUCRALOSE. That no sucralose is big for me because I cannot stand the taste of things that contain it. It does contain aspartame which is an artificial sweetener and has some mixed views on the harm it can cause the human body, but it is approved for use in the US. Now for the recommendations on how much to use in your water. Using 1 packet in the recommended 16oz of water is simply too much. That ratio makes it unbearably sweet. I mix one packet with 32oz of water and it cuts that sweetness right in half, but still makes the drink enjoyable. Could probably even get away with mixing one packet with 40oz of water and it would still taste great. The cherry limeade is my favorite. Much less expensive to purchase this box as opposed to purchasing just one with only cherry limeade.

One of my Pinterest boards is titled "I Eat Like I'm Nine". And, I do. I eat vegetables because, I'd like to see my next birthday, not because I enjoy them. (Unless they're covered in batter and deep fried. Then, please and thank you.) My go-to takeout order is chicken planks, with a side Caesar salad. You know, for health. Sonic is one of my favorite places. A breakfast egg sandwich on Texas toast is as greasy as it sounds, especially when paired with the loaded tots and the bourbon caramel iced coffee. The combo is glorious. Try the chili cheese Coney combo but sub in the strawberry limeade for the Coke product. You know, for health. While you can't order the Supersonic Double with cheese from Amazon (yet), you can scratch that Sonic itch with this. Sonic Singles to go, the limeade version. There are 30 individual packets, 10 each of Cherry Limeade, Limeade Limeade and Strawberry Limeade. Open a packet, add to cold water (or hot, no judgment here), shake or stir and be on your way. They really do taste just like the restaurant version. Prices for this product vary widely. At the moment, it's $4.87; I've seen it as high as $6.50 to $7 plus in other places. If limeade isn't your thing, there's also the Ocean Water option (what even is that) and flavored lemonade. I like that the lime version is prioritized and not just a second choice, should strawberry lemonade be out of stock. One packet per serving is plenty and you can get away with adding more water than called for without compromising the taste. If I can't have the Strawberry Cheesecake Cream Cooler regularly, at least, I can have the powdered limeade, at zero calories. Maybe I'll sneak in a carrot stick, once in a while.

There's lemonade and there's limeade ... this is a variety pack that gives you more than just one flavor, my favorite is the Cherry-Limeade. Simple to use (though I use less than the amount suggested). Very tasty, 5 calorie (0 carb) flavor mix. Great for those summer days.

Okay, so I might be the last person on Earth to realize this genius hack — but mixing these Sonic To-Go Limeade packets with sparkling water is a game-changer. Suddenly you’ve got a fizzy, refreshing Limeade that tastes just like your favorite Sonic order — without leaving the couch or the sweatpants. Pro tip: Blend with a limey sparkling water (La Croix Lime, anyone?) to boost the flavor dimension like it just unlocked a secret level. I’m almost scared to share this “secret” because it’s my personal jam on hot days, movie nights, and anytime I want that Sonic vibe minus the drive-thru. Sip responsibly… but maybe not too responsibly.

I have never had a Sonic slushie or whatever these are modeled after. I've had food from Sonic but don't typically order drinks at fast food places. However I was trying to find some new water flavoring packs because I pretty much never drink plain water unless I've already brushed my teeth for the night. These sounded good and I know Sonic drinks have a following. They are all actually very good. Like others have said, the Ocean Water is very artificial looking and has a very strong flavor. I tried the Ocean Water in a regular 16oz bottle of water and it was too strong and felt like drinking candy. But then I put a packet in my 22oz water bottle and that extra 6oz of water made all the difference. Not only did it become a refreshing, flavored, low-calorie water but I also realized it is VERY close to the original Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade Koolaid from the 90s(early 2000s). They don't make this flavor Koolaid anymore and it was always my favorite and I almost paid $20 for some expired "vintage" packs of it... That's how much I miss it. This Sonic mix tastes as close as I've ever found as long as it is more diluted than intended. Now I'm hooked and will be buying just the Ocean Water packets next time. A little nostalgia with every sip. The other two flavors are good too and I'll definitely enjoy them all as long as I have them. Somehow they managed to keep these packets from having a gross artificial sweetner taste while still being very sweet. Pretty impressive.
