This float is absolutely delightful! The fabric is exceptionally soft and feels great to the touch. I just received it today, so I haven't tested it out at the pool yet, but I couldn't resist placing my 7-month-old daughter in it right away. She seemed completely relaxed and comfortable, happily lounging in the float.With my experience from last summer, my now 2-year-old son rejected every infant float I purchased for him. This time around, I decided to invest a little more in a high-quality float. I have a strong feeling that this one will be well worth the extra expense. The best part is that it accommodates babies up to 24 months, which means my daughter will still be able to use it comfortably next summer, too!

There are so many baby floats out there, and they are available at a much cheaper price than this BUT those floats are the "blow up" variety...and they can and do get holes, and then they sink (along with the baby if the baby is inside). I know that even in a float, babies need to be watched every moment. But things DO happen, and it is possible to have to focus on something else (say, an emergency with another kid in the pool). My kids mean too much to me to take any chances with cheap floats that could fail when I need them most. This one is NOT air filled, it is solid super soft and pliable foam that floats. It has a lot of other great features....the sun shade is amazing. But what makes this worth every cent of the higher end price point for me is that it is100% reliable when it comes to trusting it to float. The baby is safe if I am watching, and if I happen to take my eyes off the baby for a few seconds or minutes the baby is still safe. When it comes to baby items, I have always felt that you can't put a price on your kids' lives - if it keeps them safer than cheaper items it's worth every single penny. I got the clownfish design, the colors are super vibrant and the design is nothing short of adorable - and this float will last through several kids. By every measure I can think of it's an incredible value for the safety, security and peace of mind. Highly recommend this float!

I was looking for a baby float for my niece because the one we used for her sister was pretty faded and worn out. I pulled up several choices that were acceptable, but then this one appeared. It is expensive, and that made me pause for a moment, but ultimately you get what you pay for, so I decided to give it a try.The package arrived, and it was huge! This is not a typical inflatable baby float. It comes ready-to-go as a foam float. Although it is large, the storage is pretty compact, as the pillow portion and the canopy fit nicely inside the overall base.I was planning on taking photos while we were using it, but she loved the pool so much (her first time) and we were having so much fun that I forgot. Trust me when I say this float held her very securely and safely in the water. The quality and stability of this float is beyond what I could have imagined. I absolutely think it is worth what seems like an insane amount of money as long as you have access to water on a regular basis and will use it often (it's good for children up to 24 months/2 years).The only complaint I could EVER have about this item is the price, and after using it, I can't even complain about that. I love It!!

Hmmm, there are some mostly great things about this float. Not having to inflate it or worry about punctures is an A+. It’s lightweight but solid. It is soft and cute (although I think it is a little more peachy and less pinky in person). Plenty of straps and a Velcro pad with a covered harness release, all very nice. I had to refer to pictures for the shade cover but finally figured the back snap out. The foot thing is nice as well but not if the 3-6 month olds little legs don’t reach. For me at this point of use I think it’s best suited for 3-6 months in the recline position. Maybe I’ll feel differently when baby is older, but the option to just sit up isn’t there as best I can tell. It’s either reclined on back or facing the hump on stomach. It’s very well made and floats excellent, so perhaps as baby grows she will grow with this and I’ll feel differently about not having the option to just sit up, but it certainly is a deluxe pool float far about the old strike yellow inflating kind.*As an Amazon Vine member I select products personally to review. Our first grandson arrived in April and will be taking his first trip to the beach in September. Looking at options for a float for the pool for a small baby, I was concerned about safety. It didn’t really occur to me until finding this one that a blow up innertube style one could be a danger if it suddenly deflated. This one is foam and will not inadvertently deflate. It has a great deal of safety features to it and the cover makes it even nicer to help keep him shaded from the sun. I was very impressed by what quality the float is. It definitely has a more sturdy and safe feel for a small infant.

Absolutely top quality floating device. I can’t say enough positive about this item in this short review. The main top quality about this float is that it is NON-INFLATABLE which speaks to the fact of its quality and safety of the device.There is a safety buckle that is very impressive to me. It would be very difficult for a baby or toddler to open this up.This float can be used in theee different ways so it is age appropriate for many.Everything that the advertiser shows is true and honest.The quality seems to be very top level. The fabric is also very nice. I would think that this would last for a very long time. I will come back to update how well this holds up against the summer sun rays and the chlorine in the pool.The sunshade is the addition that likely sets this product apart from all others.I highly recommend this pool float.
