The coffee produces quite a bit of oil; probably onnhow the coffee beans were roasted.

I have been trying a whole bunch of different coffees from amazon. So far i am loving the kicking horse coffee brand. It has a very rich taste with a hint of sugar cane and a subtle taste of hazelnut. It has a very delightful aroma to it. I stronlgly reccomend it.

Wow, this is good coffee. I bought Hola and Three Sisters to try a medium and a light roast. So satisfying! Great flavours. Lovely aromas!!! My main reason for buying Kicking Horse is because they check their coffee beans for mold and mycotoxins. Most coffee beans have been tested and shown to have mold. I don't mind any price if they go to that extent for their customers!

So far this is good coffee from a very good brand. Its a bit acidic for my taste and not as robust as I prefer but this a good medium roast coffee. Its smooth and has a clean finish on the palate, with bright notes. For organic coffee the price is very fair and the quality is good. Overall a great coffee.
