If you're purchasing this because you've had a head lice scare in your little's class, DO IT! This was recommended to us by a mom with older children who used this consistently in lower elementary and their kids never caught head lice!We have a child with very sensitive skin and scalp (and long long hair) and I was a little hesitant to purchase something with tea tree oil in it but her hair washed out beautifully, really smooth and easy to manage, and best of all, no reaction after using for days. There were a few cases of head lice / nits in her class but they never spread to her.Smell wise it's quite subtle and fades quite quickly after showering!Other recommendations (as this was our first go around with head lice): Keeping her long hair tied back neatly and out of her face, twice monthly checks with a nit comb to make sure she wasn't carrying anything.

My daughter at age 6 had gotten lice one year as it was prominent a summer camps and school and it we had to treat it several times to the whole family to get rid of it (prescription strength products work way better than the otc), so we've been using these products ever since to prevent another occurrence and we haven't had anymore problems thank goodness. Someone told us that when they stopped using the products they got it again so we are going to use them for a long time.

We used a lice treatment first and then this after and this has kept the lice away and my child’s hair looks healthier too!

I had extremely low expectations that this product would leave my hair looking great. My only concern was stopping the spread of lice in our household and it did! We managed to contain it to the one child. Thank goodness. That said, I've continued using the products on my hair and my son's. It has never been so healthy, shiny, and free of tangles. They are really great for regular use, even if you aren't trying to repel lice. I am very happy with this purchase. A great value for how well it works and how great our hair looks and feels!
