Good value on Amazon, encourages turn taking and develops hand eye coordination
Such a great vintage game, on Amazon it’s great value for money. Teaches turn taking and develops hand eye coordination. Good fun trying not to make the buzzer sound. Suitable for adults and children playing against each other.

5 year old niece loves it!
Loved this game as a child and I’m 52 now! Great it is still available. Only bought for my 5 year old niece who is learning about the body and this is a bit of fun instead of an Easter egg!My only complaint is that there needs to be a little box/bag or something to put the tiny pieces in so they don’t get lost. And spares of the rubber band because it’s probably going to perish or get broken when kids are playing with it.Great fun, easy to explain the game and how it works. Could be worked on to develop different age appropriate alternatives like limiting the amount of time or buzzes before you have to miss a go, and a scorecard system but that’s easy enough to do, at some point I guess if you are like me and happy to extend a game.

Perfect for Family Game Night
We had so much fun playing Operation with our family. It's a wonderful game that's easy for younger kids to understand, and it kept our 5-year-old grandson entertained for hours. It’s a great way to bring everyone together for some laughs and a bit of friendly competition. Highly recommend!

Fun family game
Fun game. I think for slightly older children than my 4 year old as he struggles to do it - to be fair it is quite tricky! But good fun non the less.

Lots of fun, but small hands may need to practice using the tweezers
This item was bought as a gift for two children of differing ages. 4.5 years old and the other is nearly 7.The game comes with batteries included so from opening to starting the first go, was probably only 5 minutes. Initial Setup includes 3 steps:* Step 1 - Pushing circa 16 cards from a cardboard holder (circa 1 minute to do).* Step 2 - Releasing the items to be inserted in the body from a plastic holder, which is easily done by twisting the individual items one at a time (circa 2 minutes).* Step 3 - Placing the items into the body by matching the shape of the items to the images on the game board. Note you also need to insert the rubber band which is held on its own in a small plastic resealable bag (circa 1 minute). Then comes the fun 😊.We initially tried playing by the rules but quickly realised that both children were struggling to use the tweezers to pick up the items, so we are currently focusing on learning that skill rather than playing competitively initially and that will take some time to master. Both kids are delighted though and really enjoyed the challenge and can't wait to play properly. My only criticism of the game is that some of the body items are smaller than a 5mm measurement and as they are white/bone like in appearance they could be very easily lost,.

Memories of a game of yesteryear!
Bought for some childhood nostalgia of the 80s and to introduce children to toys we used to play with!Great fun was had by young and old and since being bought, it's nice to hear the buzz of failed extractions and shushing for concentration by the kids that are choosing to play this as a group, over sitting on their games consoles!
