I was looking for a compact and affordable home office exercise machine. I often get lower body swelling and pain from sitting down for countless hours. I was going to get a walk pad but it wasn't compact enough. I was about to order an under desk peddler, but then I saw the under desk elliptical. What got me was, I could stand while using it at a standing desk. As a new law school student, physical activity is crucial for maintaining good physical and mental health. Amongst other things, it helps to manage my stress. I switch from standing to sitting when I want and I was able to assemble it with the tools provided. The machine is wonderfully solid and made with heavy metal. My legs and lower back feel great after 3+ hours on it while reading my law materials. I could go on but the hours fly by on this thing and I feel great about getting needed daily exercise and sticking to my daily study schedule simultaneously. My endorphins are wonderfully high; this is a favorite purchase.

Machine very heavy, hard to move. Hard to pedal if you already have motor function issues.

I bought this sitting elliptical for my husband and find I enjoy using it as well. It duplicates the movements that physical therapy gave me for arthritic knees and flexibility. I sit and peddle for as long as I want while watching the morning news. I also like the fact that I can dial as much or as little tension as I want. And I like that the machine is not moving my feet for me. I am actually building my own muscle and strength. Good product. I have already recommended it to my brother and a couple friends.

My husband used this every morning to exercise while in his wheelchair. Has helped maintain circulation in lower legs.
