Amazing PSU
I was a bit hesitant about buying a power supply unit (PSU) from Montech; it's not the most-known brand for PSUs. However, after using and testing it in various scenarios with my 5070Ti, I can say that it's an excellent PSU. It performs well, is almost silent and the cables are long enough and tidy for my build. They also look great inside my Havn 420 case. In terms of value for money, this PSU is excellent and comes with all the cables needed for a high-end build.

Well built, quiet, fully modular, PCIe 5.1 & 12V-2x6 support, great price for a 850W unit
This “MONTECH Century II - 850W High-End ATX Gaming Power Supply - 80 Plus Gold & Cybenetics Platinum - Fully Modular - ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Ready with 12V-2x6 Cable - 10 Years Warranty” checked all the boxes for me! I am building a gaming PC with a mATX motherboard in the smallest mATX case I can find. I should have used a SFX (small form-factor) PSU but most of them (in this wattage that I needed) are more expensive than I am willing to pay. Then I found THIS one, even though it is NOT SFX (this is actually a full sized ATX PSU), due to the fact that it is fully modular (I only need to install the cables I needed to use), and also it has 12V-2x6 to support my GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, I am still able to fit this into the case nicely. For a 850W, 80 plus gold & cybernetics platinum, with 10 years warranty unit, the price ($90) is great. Even at full blown operation, it is still running cool and quiet. It is very well built, the enclosure is nice and pretty, and all the cables seem to be of good quality. Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Professional at budget price
Works better then Corsair and has more power per dollar vs the competition. Great ratings and inside components easy to use wires are flexible

Excellent upgrade to feed a hungry GPU
GPUs are hungry. I wanted a new 9070xt to go with my 5800x3d. My old 600w gold PSU wasn't going to cut it. I did some research and saw that this one had great internals and was really good value for the money. The install was easy, I had everything I needed, the modularity was solid, and it works very well. I'm even a fan of the eco mode, which surprised me. Nice and quiet.

Didn't work, customer service refused to help
PROBLEMS ALL AROUND Simply didnt work right after 1 week. PC wouldn't turn on. I ended up buying a Corsair RM850x instead, and got much better results. The reason for having to buy the Corsair, was the terrible customer service. All I asked for was a replacement sent to me and they absolutely refused to. I wanted the replacement to sent the defective unit back into the replacements box. That way I can get my power supply unit quicker than having to send the defective one in, and then wait to get a refund, then I can get a new unit. I use this pc for work, so time is important. I still havent heard back from them about other ways to work around this problem. Because of this, I ended up having to buy a Corsair power supply (one i mentioned earlier). The Corsair was a little more expensive at $130, but already simply that much better and well worth the additional 40 dollars to have a 10 year warranty, and not having to deal with this customer service if something were to fail. Corsairs power cords are top notch as well, extremely easy to move cords around. Super displeased overall, mainly with the customer support. I understand lemons can happen. I wouldnt be writing this review if the customer support was at least trying to make things right.

Great power supply so far
It's powering my system perfectly. Not a long term review, but it works. It's cybernetics platinum rated, and it's an A tier power supply. It was packaged well, and has all of the cables you'd expect it to. I like that it's pcie 5.1, even if my 7800XT doesn't use a 12V2x6 cable it has one, in case I upgrade. Installed easy, no issues. The cables are all black, pretty neutral and go with anything. You can't see it in my case, but I do think the design is pretty nice too.

Awesome
Shipping was questionable. It could’ve stood to be inside of the box instead of the plastic Amazon bag. The box has a small hole in it from shipping. Other than that. The part itself was untouched. The cables were untouched and everything worked as it should. I install it in my rig. It was straightforward easy to do. This PSU is A class lots of room for future proof

A Tier rated PSU on the SPL charts at a great price.
Pros, 1. It's a 1200w 80+ Gold power of course. 2. It has the new ATX 3.1 and PCIE 3.1 standard. 3. It has the new 12v 2x6 connector fir the newest GPUs(especially from Nvidia). 4. Has pretty of connections for most PC components. 5. The fan isn't too loud and it's surprisingly cool(see cons). 6. It has an Eco switch(though I don't use it). 7. This PSU will handle a GPU like an RTX 5090. I'm currently running a RTX 5090 with no issue at the moment(only time will tell). 8. It's a sturdy PSU, yet smaller in size. This made routing the cables so much easier. 9. Lastly the price. For what you get and tge quality this would be extremely hard to beat even if it's competition was running a sale. It's not impossible to beat because some may need some better and/or different where the price isn't justified. Cons, 1. The intake area isn't the most ventilated. I'm actually surprised it stays as cool as it does. Perhaps because I'm not majorly pushing my PC's power limit. 2. The fan could be a little better, but it seems to do the job. 3. I wish some of the cables were braided rather than using flat plastic coated wire. The coated wire maybe easier to route, but I'm skeptical of it's durability and I was cautious when installing this PSU because of this. 4. If your PC is running something like a RTX 5090(especially with a last generation Intel I7s or I9s) I'd advise undervolting your GPU. I will put less risk on your 12v cable, reduce any coil whine and possibly make PSU and other components last longer.
