My teacher speaks very fast in class, so I bought it to record the parts that I couldn't hear clearly during class. It can record for a long time and has sufficient battery. The only downside is that there is a little noise when I listen to the playback, which makes it not very clear.

I found this pen really easy to use. There are two little lights at the back of the clip which makes it easy to see if it's recording or not. The position of the "cap" at the end of the pen, you can quickly tell if the recording feature is engaged.Also, it's not a bad ink pen either. It comes with a couple extra ink cartridges. Surprisingly, it includes a set of earphones too. You can unscrew the pen and you can plug the headphones into the usb. The headphone cable has playback controls on them. I thought this was a nice feature.Even better than headphone playback, you can plug the pen usb directly into your computer. Once you do, you can click on the folder and you'll see all the recorded wav files. For me, this is the most convenient way to access the recordings.The last way to access the recordings is to pull the TF card and use a card reader, which is also nice.To sum up, it's easy to use, offers multiple ways to access the recordings, comes with USB headphones (with playback controls) and the recordings are good quality too.

The pen itself looks nice from a distance. It's got some interesting black textures on the side, and the clip is made from strong metal. The pen itself writes nicely, and there are 4 refills in the box. However, the material the pen is made of is fairly lightweight, so the pen is top heavy (due to the recorder being in there), so writing with this pen for any extended period of time can be a pain. The pen twist is a bit hard to turn, making it difficult to use as just a pen.As for the voice recorder, the quality of the recordings are mediocre at best, you have to be pretty close to the microphone on the backside of the pen in order for this to pick anything up. There are no indicator lights to tell weather it's recording or not - the only indicator you have is if the nib at the top is depressed or not. Instead of a USB-C connection, it does use the old micro-usb style connector, so be sure to save the cable for later. Unscrewing the pen from the recorder is quite difficult as the plastic and metal don't mesh very well.However, this pen also serves as a 128gb memory device (and comes with a 128gb micro-sd card). So for the value for the money (this being a USB storage device that looks like a pen) this is pretty good.
