I ordered this vanilla orange tallow based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. This stuff is phenomenal! I have extremely dry and cracked hands from drying soaps. After using this product for 2 days I had already seen a big improvement in my hands. They were not itchy and painful and instead were soft and moisturized. The smell is amazing too just like an orange creamsicle ice cream. You only need a pea sized amount so it should last long. It is a nice light and whipped tallow. I also really like that it is organic and homemade by a family owned company. I will be recommending this tallow to family and friends and will be trying out some other scents too.

This product is THE BEST. I have been using it about a month. My husband was the first to comment that my crows feet had lessened. I noticed that my skin wasn’t flaking off with winter dryness. To be honest I probably apply it too heavy at night, then rub it on my hands and arms (no more dry elbows). In the morning I use just a little and smooth it on for the day. The skin under my eyes is less crepey and is actually soft even if I forget to put it on in the morning. This stuff is literally life changing. My face has not looked this glowing in years. It Has even helped with my perimenopause skin issues. (Thanks hormones). People seem concerned about the price however I have spent way more and had less use with other products. I am less than halfway through my first jar (second jar got delivered today) and as I said I use it on the heavy side at night. That means I have roughly more than a month left. Well worth it is what I am trying to say. I hope I never go without this product because it’s amazing. I would recommend this to everyone. I will also mention my skin is sensitive on my face and other products would cause me to break out in pimples or a rash. Not once have I had a single irritation from this product! I did a lot of reading on beef tallow before purchasing and I’m so happy I chose hearth and homestead. The product is smooth and melts in your skin. Literally melts. My lips are crazy smooth and I feel it has helped with my creases around my mouth as I am a smoker. (Yes I know it’s a horrible habit, I agree) I can’t speak enough good about this tallow!!!! I waited a month to review even though I was so impressed after the first week! This whipped tallow is the real deal. It’s amazing!

I usually hate face creams and lotions cause they feel gross and I have sensitive skin so they give me a rash or a breakout, but this has a nice feel on your skin like a silky buttery smoothness. The coffee smell is so nice and covers up most all the beefy smell. Still a tiny bit beefy but not bad it just reminds you that it’s an all natural product. I’ve never had an all natural product like this and my skin can feel the difference. I can see the difference. My t zone is usually dry and flaky especially in the winter but this helps moisturize tremendously. I use it on my lips and it’s better than any lip balm I’ve had. It makes my skin glow and feel perkier. It looks perkier also. I’ve noticed it’s refreshed my skin and even faded my eleven lines, smile lines, some of my dark spots, etc. This is a product I’m excited to put on my skin. I like the glass jar. As far as the price I wish there was a little more product for it, but the product quality is worth it. And it’s supporting a small business with natural ingredients so I gotta respect the hustle.🤷🏼‍♀️🫡

I've been using this tallow brand for a year or so and I am a customer for life. I was running low, so I ended up trying a more expensive face lotion and began noticing that I was looking haggard and older. I decided to go back to my tallow and I'm relieved to say it is starting to "fluff" my skin back out. It feels wonderful on my dry skin and I can see a huge difference in my fine lines and wrinkles. It feels slightly greasy going on, but it absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling supple. I wear it to bed a little thicker, but in the morning I use less and have no issues with it under my makeup. It feels good to have an amazing skin care product that can grow old with me. My favorite is the orange-vanilla but I would use any of the scents as long as I got these great results. I'm buying more to use on my body. I can't get enough of this stuff.

Originally ordered the coffee vanilla- which it smelled good, but for me, the coffee scent was a tad too strong to be on my face. I ended up giving it to my mom because she didn’t mind the smell on her face. I then bought the butter almond- which this scent is very nice! Not overly strong. Both that I ordered went on very smooth, definitely hydrated my skin! Didn’t leave a greasy residue on my face, which I really liked because I hate for my face to feel “heavy.” Even using just a few days- someone at work informed me today that my face looked different today, they asked if I changed my makeup (nope!) because my face looked flawless. I would say that my makeup went on more easily since using this balm at night. I would also say that my face looks and feels way more hydrated and I’m excited to see the long term results after using this for several months versus just what I’ve noticed in a few days! My (35yo) skin is normal- not oily, not dry. No acne, although I do occasionally get a pimple here and there. My mom (62yo) has dry skin & she absolutely loved this! Said her face feels softer, not dry, and she’s noticed her overall skin appearance is better. & like me, says it absorbs well, not leaving her face feeling oily/heavy. I have a scar that runs through my eyebrow and I’m curious if it’ll help with the look of my scar (my scar isn’t terrible looking- but still excited to see if using this makes a difference in the scar appearance). I will absolutely be buying more in the future!! Both containers that I ordered came whipped, but I did love the video on “how to and what to do” if the weather changes the consistency of the whipped texture!

I cannot recommend this product enough!!! My 16 month old has been suffering with quite bad eczema patches on her back and arms recently and within a week of using this after her baths (which I also put natural colloidal oats in) it’s 99% cleared!!! It’s definitely worth the money. I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to as I’m so pleased with the results and knowing it’s organic and natural with no nasties!

Irritates the skin a little and pretty solid cream rather than the whipped picture.
