Great stuff!
I break off what I need (it’s too tough for me to break off by hand do I use a sharp knife to create a split) and put it in a disposable tin toasting tray. I add hot water (from the tap, not roasting hot, but hot that it wont burn when I test the temperature with my fingers) and it immediately absorbs the water. I then add more until it doesn’t need it.I store the unused in a brown paper bag. Wash out the disposable roasting tin and store them together for next time.

Exactly what I needed
So far exactly what you see in the advert. Easy to use, space consuming, have planted various different seeds and plants. Really pleased. Great idea.

Easy to use
Great, easy to use compost, but for the price, I did expect more soil. You’d get double at the garden centre for the price you pay on here! Oh well, filled a few pots when I needed it, and was easy to make - just add hot water and wait before breaking up/mixing with trowel.

Amazing
Arrived same dayWell packagedProduct is great alternative to soil i mix with slow release fertilizer and perlite for my peace lily and spider plant never used before, but u get so much in this little brick so only cut off small bits until u get the amount you need, just add water and it doubles in size. Easy to use and no mess like soil. Great value for money compare too soil , how water brilliantly without being soggy. Hoping this stops mouldy soil.

Great Quality!
Great quality soil, Packed in very well. Water retention is great.Very compact but a bit hard to break due to the coco fibres but nonetheless very easy to use and straightforward. Will definitely buy again in the future.

Excellent for extra enrichment for hamsters!
Using this as a bit of extra enrichment for my robo hamsters! Goes great in a natural setup, looks nice, adds some natural smell and texture and nice for them to dig in!Came in a day which is awesome. For the amount you get its a great price. Comes in a brick form which you then put in some water to make it loosen and expand. Easily expands to 3x the size, filled up a regular bucket to over 3/4!If you are using it for hamsters/rodents as a permanent thing in their cage (I.e. not as a removable digging box) you must dry it out or it may cause mold and you don't want your hamster getting wet either. Ive read it can set fire in the oven so I didn't want to risk it. I also didn't want to dry it outside as I didn't want bugs getting in it. I've been putting some on a flat surface and putting it on the window sill turning it every now and again. I won't lie it takes a while but I put some in my little peanuts cage yesterday and she loves it! She spent the best part of an hour sniffing at it and digging in the corner 😂 I hid a few meal worms in it and she loved digging them out.Once some more has dried out I'll try it with my other hamster but she's a real digger so I'm sure she'll love it too! The rest will be dried out and stored in a zip lock bag for future use and I'm convinced it'll last me at least a year maybe more, and that's with roughly 30cm x 10cm of their cages being this.I would add that if you're drying it out put in a small amount of water at a time when making it up so you don't soak it more than it has to be - it'll make drying a little quicker.Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend for any animal that it's safe for!
