This wax is a great maintenance wax for wooden cutting boards. Easy to apply and seems to maintain the water resistance of the board. I used it on a maple amd walnut board that I made. I first soaked the board in Walrus Oil for a couple of days until it didn't seem to be able to soak up any more oil. Then I wiped it down and let it dry for about 24 hours. I then wiped it down with the wood wax, and do so as well after every dozen or so washes. It can be difficult to tell if you are applying enough, but thin layers are the right way to go. This is a great choice for maintaining your wooden cutting boards. Definitely recommended.

I've been using this to finish my turned objects for several years now. It seals well, is easy to apply, and provides a cutting board finish to these things. It replaced another brand of beeswax based paste wax, and this is far superior. On the instructions, "Care and Feeding of Your Wood Turning," I afvise the brand, and product names, and where to purchase it, for when the finish is worn off to some degree. Excellent product!

Works as expected but I deducted a star because the smell of it is nauseating to me. Also it takes some elbow grease to work this into the wood

I was previously using mineral oil for my cutting boards, but the price has become outrageous. This product does a better job at waterproofing my bamboo cutting boards & lasts much longer than mineral oil.

I bought this to finish my inkle loom with the thought that any leftovers could be used to refinish my chopping boards. It's done a fantastic job on my loom and was very easy to apply.

In my opinion, this product is completely overrated and nowhere near what expected. The wood stains after coming into contact with water, even if you wipe it off right away. I thought this wax would protect the surface, but the results were really disappointing. For me, it simply wasn't worth the purchase.
