Very impressed with quality of the harness and the leash. Both are a stretchy elastic type of material so if your bird tries to fly away it won't jerk them back, it will give a bit. XS is perfect for my 50 gram lovebird. I don't think it would fit a budgie (parakeet) or parrotlet. I have a tubby parrotlet, she weighs 38 grams and I think it would hang loose on her. Definitely go off of the weight chart and not the type of bird recommended. I was able to get it on my lovebird for a minute more to gage fit and functionality. I will update with pics here in a few days but wanted to post this because there weren't many reviews when I purchased mine. I think most issues have to do with incorrect sizing or birds lack of willingness to wear. I'm very happy!!

I didn’t mind the quality it wasn’t bad but I put it on my Quaker and he absolutely hated it would not stop biting it it’s all he would do it’s a no from him apparently yall must have realllly good birds

I bought and tried 2 different sizes for my 63g GCC, this one and the size smaller, the material is super nice. Seems just stretchy enough to be gentle on the feathers while being secure. HOWEVER, the sliding buckle you use to tighten/loosen the harness gets loose while on the bird while its moving around. I have to check and re tighten it periodically. I'm too afraid my bird will get loose, so I just use this indoors for harness training now. The long teather is nice though. 7/10.

Although I like the harness as a whole, the only draw back is the adjustability is kind of difficult, especially if you don’t have a perfectly at-ease bird. The time it takes to adjust makes my bird antsy, but that’s birds for ya. Otherwise a good harness, the elastic rope is lengthy which is good for short range recall training.

I like this harness, it fit pretty well. The fist few times I got it on my bird pretty easy but the last few times I’ve tried I had to take it off because he gets all upset and moves so much and gets all tangled in it. I’m hoping it gets easier the more I show it to him.
