Great upgrade
Added the hub3 to improve my smart home setup. It improved my connectivity including adding matter to my setup. I like that I can control my tv and sound bar with it along with other IT devices.Top rated product for me. I’m glad they have added extra features since I purchase and also having the temp and humidity on the main screen is great.Easy to setup. Great build quality.

Solid upgrade for SwitchBot users
I’ve been using the SwitchBot Hub 3 for a few weeks now and it's been a solid addition to my setup. I don’t use Matter, so I can’t speak to those features, but everything else works really well. I also think it's set at a fair price point, given the sheer number of features and use cases it has.Setup was quick and painless, and the app makes it easy to connect and manage my devices. I’m using it mainly to control some SwitchBot plugs and smart curtains, and so far everything’s been reliable — no issues with connection or delays. The IR blaster is a nice bonus. I’ve been able to set it up to control my TV, which adds a bit of convenience when building automations or using voice control. Two reasons I’m not giving it 5 stars.1. is because I’m not making use of some of the more advanced features, so it feels like I’m not getting all the value out of it yet. That said, it’s doing exactly what I need it to, and it’s been a big improvement in how I control my devices remotely.2. It has to be plugged in all the time, making placement difficult. Would be great if it had a battery and could just be plugged in at night (to a dock preferably)Would definitely recommend it if you’re already using SwitchBot gear and want to tie it all together.

Great Matter Hub
The media could not be loaded. Really impressed with the SwitchBot Hub 3 so far. It feels really well made—the dial is super solid and satisfying to use, and the screen is nice and clear. One of the best parts is the built-in temperature and humidity sensor (which is actually in the USB-C cable, not the hub itself—smart design!).It connects easily with my other devices—TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and all my SwitchBot gear. Matter support, ties everything together really well. With integration with platforms like Philips Hue through HomeKit.Overall, it’s a great little hub that does a lot, looks good, and just works.

Excellent choice of hub
Looks very sleek and has a wall-mounting option via screws or 3M adhesive. Alternatively, a nice stand for it to sit on a surface. Works very well, and is intuitive. It responds instantly and does what you press - whether that's shortcuts or menu options. The display is clearly readable from across the room. A twist of the dial can alter brightness of lights, or even open my curtains! It's great!

Very capable hardware that doesn't quite know what it wants to be.
The hardware of this device is beautiful and very capable. The Bluetooth/WiFi/Matter/SwitchBot/IR-remote-RX-TX hub function is very flexible although the BLE range was poor with my SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor Meters.Unfortunately at this point it is a sub-optimal and not very flexible way of providing the two functions it's trying to address aka a hub and a control panel, especially considering its premium pricing. It has a digital rotary dial and a bunch of hardware and touch sensor buttons which can be exposed to things like Home Assistant and a very clear reasonably high-resolution monochrome dot-matrix display but the lack of a LiIon battery means that it can't be used on a coffee table or similar without the USB cable becoming a trip hazard. Placement is further restricted if you want to use the IR TX or RX function. So it has to be wall-mounted or on a shelf or a table adjacent to a wall. The IR TX function has an online database of other manufacturers' products and can also learn from your existing remotes and then expose those functions for TX using its buttons and the SwitchBot app but it doesn't allow you to use an existing spare or generic remote control to provide control of arbitrary devices via Home Assistant automations or the like. This would be an obvious feature to provide via a firmware upgrade to attract home automation buffs. There's also currently no way of using the display in ways other than the limited ones provided by the firmware e.g. as a clock/calendar, weather station using SwitchBot sensors. I would like to see, but doubt will appear in future firmware, a way for the home automation server to display arbitrary information via the WiFi.I'm sure it'll suit some people's purposes very well but for me a cheaper no-UI hub hidden on a wall somewhere and a battery-powered tablet-style touchscreen display makes more sense.

Seamless setup and a real smart home upgrade
I’ve been using this SwitchBot Hub 3 for a few days now, and it’s quickly become a central part of my home automation setup. The installation was super straightforward, I had it connected to my devices and integrated with Alexa and HomeKit in less than 10 minutes. What really stands out is the versatility. The IR remote function is brilliant, I was able to control my old air conditioning unit, which isn’t smart, directly from my phone. It’s like giving a second life to some of my older tech. The built-in thermometer and hygrometer are a nice bonus. It’s been helpful to get accurate readings for different rooms, especially when trying to fine-tune the heating and cooling. So far, everything has been responsive and stable. It’s honestly taken my home automation to the next level without needing to replace existing gear. Very impressed!

This is a game changing hub!
The functionality is amazing! It can connect to and control other SwitchBot devices, Bluetooth devices and even FireTV/Apple TV! This is as well as having 30 virtual Matter buttons that can be used to trigger automations on third party platforms (Home Assistant, Homey, etc.). It’s also a temperature and humidity sensor! Worth every penny/cent.
