It coincided with my ancestry health tests that said I had a variant for a blood disorder. I had no idea for over 40 years that I had been eating foods that were making me anemic. The 5Strands testing empowered me to take control of my health and customize my diet and nutrition to my body’s needs. * update: after furthe studying the results, suggesting to focus on the nutrition facts to improve a balance diet or with supplement, do not bother to food test, or heavy metals that usually toxic to your body but stop the exposure. * The deluxe package is a waste of money and test results might contradict across intolerance, inability to absorb nutrition and imbalance of metal & mineral to process and elimination. The unspecific testing standard (threshold) and reading indicator will not let you to understand the purpose of doing this. I did not believe the reviews before buying this kit and thought there should be some points to startup with some food elimination but once I have looked into the nutrition and metal & mineral together, I know I was wrong to try this product. If you do not have any noticable reaction to any speicific allergens, you simply cannot tackle the root problem. The way you can start to elimate the food intolerance would take you forever to draw a conclusion unless you have randomly picked the exact right categories and individual items to show significant improvement only if it is a noticeable reaction with sufficient amount of daily and accumulative consumption over a short period of time.

There is a lot of information from the tests. However, there were discrepancies between the two reports. One report list the inflammatory by category, non up to avoid. There is a second report that lists by group, ie, all fruits, proteins, etc. This report differed from the other list. Raw iceberg lettuce okay on one list and red alert avoid on the other list.

Quick delivery and turn around time! Customer service was outstanding with answering questions I had as well. It's a great starting point for figuring out health issues.

The report has a lot of information but it does not provide certain details that I am looking for. However, in general, it provides a good guide.

Fantastic customer service. I sent my sample in the day before the Canada Post strike so it got stuck in the mail. When I reached out by email, I had a response in less than a few hours. They gave me different options to send another sample. The time between when they received my sample and the results, was very quick. The results are also delivered in really nice options. You can download them to Excel as well to organize the data better. Really nice, really thorough.

The product arrived quickly and the results came in quickly. The results are a vital tool for improving diet and maximizing health.

I am soooo glad I got myself tested with this kit. What I uncovered are the missing links in many of my health issues. Well worth the price......my entire family is now being tested.
