Love it so much! It's look like yougurt consistency, smell so good! This product are so awesome! Leaves your hair smooth, moist, silky and flexible. It's so delicious for your hair. I wash my hair with a curl shampoo, Leaves the Skala moisturizer about 5 minutes, rinse, I use Shea Moisture Strength and restore leave-in conditioner and then the Hydrate + restore whipped cream hair and ooh lala! Looks so awesome and very defining! Oh! I love ,love this product!🥰🥰🥰

Moisture rich..
This does amazing moisturizing things to my curls and waves, finally found my “go to” for my natural hair, very moisturizing, doesn’t flake, leaves my hair very soft.

Smells great, feels great!
I actually really like this product. It is thin but I find that it still moisturizes my hair and has decent hold on its own. It does leave your hair a little sticky once dry but for me it’s not a problem. It’s not sticky to the point of feeling like someone poured maple syrup all over your head. It’s definitely not the consistency of the Moisturizing Curl Cream in the pink jar by Shea Moisture but it still works good. I wouldn’t recommend using it in addition with that product because it can leave a white cast or flakes in your hair. Overall good product! But may not work for all curl textures. I have very thick, course curly hair 3c/4a texture.

I am familiar with this brand via my daughter's use of its Curl Enhancing Smoothie. We are particularly pleased given that its products are cruelty free, ethically traded and use sustainably sourced ingredients - which, in this case, include boabab oils, mafura oil, and manuka honey and yoghurt. Just as well, this curl cream lacks the parabens, mineral oil, petroleum and phthalates common in similar hair products. This cream, like all SheaMoisutre products, has a sweet smelling scent, which is subtle and pleasant. My daughter has slightly wavy hair - a bit on the thin side, and even so, this product does much to make her hair wavier and even curly - especially when diffused. She washes, combs/brushes, and then evenly distributes - all the while scrunching her hair with her hands in the process. In the end, she is left with good curl definition and bounce, as described. I too, have used this cream - not to curl, but, prior to blow drying and then straightening. That being said, my hair is stronger, more moisturized, and, I would say, less prone to breakage and damage. My daughter has also applied a tad bit of this cream to dry hair, while scrunching, and even then, it gives nice results. We find that it also works really well at reducing frizz and fly-aways. I suppose, in our case, it has a myriad of uses because of its all-around moisturizing features and capabilities. What is especially good is that it does not leave the hair stiff, weighed down, inflexible or lacking in luster as do many other creams or mousses. It is just simply smooth and creamy. In any case, a little goes a long way and that being said, this jar will last a very, very long time. It's not just a whip curl cream, but rather, a good product for various styling needs, in various scenarios, as mentioned above. Overall, pleased with this product and find that it can be used on various hair types, including mine and my daughter's - thin and thick alike. The price of $14.99 Canadian at the time of this review, is more than reasonable, and less than what I have found in-store. Since the product lives up to what it states, I rate it 5 stars.

Let me start by saying I have nothing against this product. It probably will work amazing for many people. For me it was just wrong. I tried various amounts, watered it down etc. It would just end up feeling sticky. I almost felt like every piece of dirt in the air was getting stuck to my head. Had to rinse it out. Again, I think it because I need so much for my amount of hair that it offset any benefits of the product. I have thick curls and this is probably better suited for lighter curls. This is a great brand. It is amazing for curls. I have used others products by the company but this one just wasn't a good fit.
